Monday Night, Later On
Dear diary,
My aunt makes, hands down, THE best turkey sandwich ever. Once we've reached the Clifford's household, I didn't realized how hungry I was until my tummy made a grumbling noise so loud that I wouldn't be surprise if people in Russia could hear it. Gosh, was that embarrassing! Max heard it first and couldn't stopped laughing! Since it was still hours before dinner time, Aunt Colleen decided to make her signature turkey sandwich for the three of us to try. Once we had taken a bite out of it, the three of us ate as though there's no tomorrow. "Are you sure the plane served breakfast? It seems like you guys haven't eaten in ages!" Aunt Colleen exclaimed when she saw the way we were eating. It's true, we were really hungry. This is because the plane DID serve breakfast, but it didn't serve lunch as we arrived an hour earlier before lunchtime. But since all three of us were filled with adrenaline when we reached Australia -I mean Melbourne - we kind of forgotten about lunch. Thank goodness Aunt Colleen was our guardian, I highly doubt we could survive a day without a guardian, so much for learning to be independent.
When we were all full, Uncle Frank showed us around the house. Turns out, Elise and I would be sharing my cousin Tanya's room since she had moved out 2 years ago, while Max would be bunking with my cousin Jayden. Since the Clifford's children weren't at home yet, we decided to watch some Melbourne TV shows while waiting for their arrival. Here's a brief introduction of the Cliffords, diary: There's the two parents, Frank and Colleen. Then their eldest son, Bradley Clifford whom is 29 years old and had been married for a year now. His wife is Zoe Mackenzie. Next, it's their second child Tanya Clifford, 25 years old, and just moved out 2 years ago. Lastly, their third son, Jayden Clifford, is 19 years old, only a year older than Elise, Max and I, and is currently studying in the University of Melbourne. He's also the smartest child in the Kim family tree, the extended version. I doubt he'd have that title for long now, because I once made a vow to myself that I would outsmart him one day. And by seeing my SPM results, I think my plan is so far so good. Okay, enough of the Clifford's family introduction, it's time to get down to business.
Once the three siblings reached home, Uncle Frank decided to take us out for a fancy dinner since it's the first time in God knows how long the whole family is together. Only it wasn't exactly a normal classy and sophisticated dinner, but a nervous, full-of-blushing, not to mention stammering, dinner. Apparently, Jayden invited his best friend over for dinner. And let me tell you this diary, his friend is a total EYE CANDY! With his glossy brown hair, killer smile, lean figure and a heart-melting accent, he's definitely my definition of guys that are drool worthy. However, our brief encounter wasn't exactly cool and nonchalant as I hope it was. It was more like this...
"Hi, I'm Christian Carter, but you can call me Chris for short." Chris said.
"Oh... Ummm.. I'm... Ah..." I stammered.
"She's Beatrice." Max suddenly said. "Forgive her, my friend here's a bit retarded."With that, Max just earned himself a jab from my elbow into his ribs. Chris on the other hand just chuckled. Isn't he such a gentleman? He's trying to be polite after I had just left a fantastic first impression of being a retarded person. But thankfully, I wasn't the ONLY person being a fool. Guess what diary.... I think Elise has the hots for Jayden!! You know how I know this? Well diary, let's just say Jayden and Elise's brief encounter wasn't exactly perfect too...
"Lissy, this is Jayden, my cousin." I introduced after my really embarrassing encounter with Chris. "And Jayden, this is my best friend Elise."
"How many times do I have to tell you, kiddo? It's okay to call me Jay." Jayden said while ruffling my hair like I was a two year old. Heck, if it wasn't for Chris being there, my fist would already hit Jay's stomach. But out of the corner of my eyes, something caught my attention more than Chris's face... Elise was checking Jay out. ELISE LEE was checking Jayden Clifford out. My best friend actually checked my cousin out!! And to make matters worst, I wasn't the only one who caught her staring at my cousin."Hey sis," Max said after he noticed where his twin sister was looking -- Jay's abs through his white linen V-neck shirt. (Yes, that smartass cousin of mine actually have the decency to have abs.)"You might want to look up a bit..."
Oh diary, you should've seen her face! She blushed so hard like a tomato on fire! I'd laughed at her, but seeing that I was also in that kind of a situation, I felt sorry for her...
Hold on a sec diary, I think Elise had just came out of the shower. GREAT! It's time to do some questioning. I'll fill you in with the details tomorrow, because right now, I'm going to forced some answers out of Elise's mouth.

I'd just like to give a shout out to my friend Eileen (Whom the character Elise is based off from) for helping me with the casting and being the first reader of this story when it was still just a draft.
