Chapter 45

Sherlock's POV

John's lips crashed against my own, and he pushed me down onto the ground as he lay on top of me, not moving his lips away for a moment. I felt him smile into the kiss as my hands rubbed his back. I was sitting there kissing my fiance, and there was nothing else I would rather do. I know we were young, we were still in high school, but I couldn't wait any longer.

I thought John would laugh at me for loving Peter Pan. The story, I mean. Loving a fictional character would be daft and unhealthy (A/N- Personally I disagree with what I just made Sherlock think; I love fictional characters more than people I actually know) but the story held a deep meaning to me, as I had told John. Instead, once he understood what I meant, he looked touched... Or maybe that was once I had properly proposed. I don't know. It was all a blur.

I gently pushed John off of me, and he looked at me, confusion clear in his eyes. I stood up and brushed myself off. "Come with me."

I took John's hand and led him up a little track to a boat shed. It was blue in colour and had a wharf coming off it, as opposed to a ramp. There was a little wooden door to the side of the shed, and I went over to it, and unlocked the door.

I opened it and let John in first. He gasped as he looked around, realising it wasn't actually a boat storage area, but I had it converted into a little cabin. The bottom was an open area, with a little modest kitchen. On the other side there was a little area I had made into a bathroom, with walls along the inside to make it a private area. Up in the attic, as I showed John, it had been renovated into a room with a king sized bed and bean bags all over the ground, with quirky, colourful, retro carpeting.  John grinned as he spun around in a circle, before staggering into my arms.

"I love it!" He exclaimed.

"I'm glad, Baby," I told him, walking over to the bed, still carrying John in my arms with ease, dropping him on the bed, lying down beside him. We sat there for a while with grins on our faces, listening to the water licking the wooden pillars outside.

"Sherlock," John breathed, turning his head to look at me, at the same time I turned to look at him, our eyes locking. "This is... Simply amazing. Thank you for everything you do for me. I love it and I love you."

I took John's hand in mine and squeezed it softly. "I mightn't know anything about the solar system or anything of that sort but I do know that my world revolves around you, John. Actually, you are my life, and I wouldn't change that for the world."

"What did I do to deserve you, Sherlock?" John asked quietly, more to himself than to me.

I was about to reply when John sat up. "Oh my- Sherlock?!"

"What?" I asked, sitting up. Had he seen something bad? Had I done something wrong? What?

"Is that an electric guitar?!"

I blushed and scratched the back of my head, getting up to get the guitar. "Erm... Yeah."

"I didn't know you could play the electric guitar!"

"Well," I cocked my head to the side, "It is rather easy, if you know how to play-"

"Play something for me," John interrupted me.

"Huh?" I was caught off guard.

"Play something for me. Please?"

I sighed, and began to play a tune that I had heard somewhere, before I pin-pointed what I was playing. I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness. I began to question my sanity when I thought about the fact that I actually knew the damn song, let alone the chords.

I knew John would want me to sing along. Of course he did. I would sing along for John's benefit. I would play the fool and I would do it for him.

"Can't explain all the feelings that you're making me feel

My heart's in overdrive and you're behind the steering wheel

"Touching you, touching me

touching you, god you're touching me

"I believe in a thing called love

Just listen to the rhythm of my heart

There's a chance we could make it now

We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down

I believe in a thing called love

Ooh!

"I wanna kiss you every minute, every hour, every day

You got me in a spin but everythin' is A.OK!"

I dramatically ripped off my shirt and trousers, so I was only in my pants and socks. John went fifty shades of red, reminding me of his red pants that I loved so much as I continued to play and sing, dancing around him in a sexual manner.

"Touching you, touching me

touching you, god you're touching me

"I believe in a thing called love

Just listen to the rhythm of my heart

There's a chance we could make it now

We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down

I believe in a thing called love

Ooh! Guitar!"

I played random chords and they mixed into a nice sound, and John sat there with a blush on his face, as I "jammed out" (as I had heard it be so poetically expressed) to The Darkness in nothing but socks and pants.

"Touching you, touching me

touching you, god you're touching me

"I believe in a thing called love

Just listen to the rhythm of my heart

There's a chance we could make it now

We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down

I believe in a thing called love

Ooh!"

I sighed and rested the guitar against the wall and fell back on the bed beside John. "I can't believe I just did that. No one is to find out about it."

"Oh, that was something special indeed," John said, running his cool hand over my stomach. I watched his hand as he rubbed circles over my body suggestively, and I was mesmerised by his tanned colouring against my pale skin.

I raised my eyebrow and turned my attention to my fiance. "Special, huh?" I moved swiftly so that John was underneath me.

John bit his lip in an adorable way, and I fought to keep my face expressionless. "Yes, special. Didn't you hear me?"

"Such sass, John," I told him, cocking my head to the side. I brought my lips down and they brushed John's ear as I spoke. "Bad boys get punished, and I think it's very bad that you called that special."

"What else should I have called it, hmm?" John asked me, tangling his fingers in my curls, his eyes locked with mine.

"Sexy, maybe? Really, John, I'm sure you could come up with something."

"Oh, shut up and kiss me," he giggled, pulling me in close to him to press his lips against mine.

I'd do anything for my fiance.

(A/N- . . . Okay, I have two confessions: One, I still know all the words to I Believe In A Thing Called Love and two, I used to have the biggest crush on Justin Hawkins, the lead singer of The Darkness. Phew, glad I got that off my chest! And just so I stop saying it every chapter, it's still not the end for a while, hopefully. Please vote/comment/share/follow if you enjoy it! Thanks, Lovelies!
