Author Info:

Cornelius will still be in the story but his age won't be as accurate, I did this so it would fit the story better in case of any confusion. He will still age but will be much younger than Clova. Hope this helps.

Not that many things have changed over the years, Clova was now seven years old and could communicete with the apes more fluently. As she grew, the apes would replace her clothes in bigger sizes and occasionly be allowed to enter the wood accompanied by either Blue Eyes or Caesar.

The rays of sunshine peeped through the open doorway, it flashed against Clova's eyes and Clova stirred awake, she saw the room was empty and looked at the wall. She made a wall of tallies and today was the day. Without hesitation, she sprang out of bed and looked outside, a long queue of horses were being groomed and attatched with spears, carved knives and hooks.

She stood outside and climbed down, living with apes, Clova picked up lots of things, there was an emergancy ladder that was made for her incase of situations where she would struggle. Across the Ape Village towards the entrance, she saw Caesar, Rocket, Luca, Koba, Ash and Blue Eyes prepare to leave. Clova sprinted to them as fast as her bare feet could take her, Blue Eyes saw her and dismounted his horse, when she reached them, she struggled for breath.

"You s-said I could come with you.", she panted in sign. Blue Eyes smiled and rubbed her head.

"You were still sleeping.", he chuckled. Clova shook her head.

"Next time,", she started, still out of breath, "wake me up." Blue Eyes nodded and picked her up, he sat her down at the back of his horse before he got on as well.Clova turned to her right, Caesar was seated on his horse and smiled at her.

"Morning, father.", she greeted.

"Good morning, sleep well?", he asked.

He teased a little and pointed to her uncombed, messy hair. She looked to her left and what a sight. It was Koba. Clova smiled at him, Koba responded by giving her a nasty snarl. She furrowed her brow, she had no idea why he hated her. One of the apes below smacked the horse's behind and it started moving out of the village.

As they rode on, Clova would look over to Koba when he wasn't paying attention, she stared at his scars that extended along his body, she then focused on his loss of fur on some parts of his body. He looked at her and she swung her head back forward, trying to avert his gaze.

The ride was in silence and Koba often gave Clova mean looks, she tightened her hold on Blue Eyes as she felt uncomfortable. Blue Eyes felt her strong grip around his waist, he turned his head over his shoulder to check on her to see her face buried in the crook of his fur, her threatened eyes staring at Koba's deep, piercing ones.

Blue Eyes frowned angrily and tightened the reigns on his horse to speed up, the horse obeyed and galloped up to Caesar's horse. Caesar, heard their rushed approach as they rode beside him, a puzzled look on his face and Blue Eyes pointed behind his to Clova, who was still threatened. Caesar furrowed his brow in question, Blue Eyes simply signed.

"Koba."

Caesar looked back at Clova, clearly uncomfortable around Koba's presence as she was unusually quiet. He turned around over his shoulder, an oblivious Koba carried a spear on his back, his light green pupils flickered with anger. Caesar's had enough.
