When Karma Hits You

        That kind of feeling, that awesome feeling when your mom bought your favorite doll. That kind of feeling, that feeling of overwhelmed. That kind of feeling I have today. That kind of feeling, that feeling that will give me a heart attack. That kind of feeling, that feeling that will let my heart to beat fast, too fast. I just can't control it. I just can't. I just really can't.

    "I'm full." he said then he leaned on the chair then he turned his head to me.

"Ah. Where's Ma'am Iya? I thought you're always eating lunch with her?" I asked him.

"Oh, Iya? She's on a call. I don't want to disturb her so I eat first. Well, I always eat alone." he said.

"Ah. I see." The way we talk to each other, it was like we're that too close. It's like a normal conversation of a man and a woman. There is no, He is my boss, I am his employee, now.

"I thought you don't usually eat here?" I asked him.

"Says who?" he said

"Me." I replied.

"Well, I don't really usually eat here. Actually, I did not have my breakfast earlier that's why I brought my food here." He explained.

"Ah." I just nod.

"Yes. And, you're lucky. You're eating with me. Haha! Just kidding." He said. "You're done?" then he asked me.
        
"Yes. Thanks for the food." I said.

" I should be the one who'll say thank you here." he said.

Then he looks at me. I smiled at him

"Alright. You are welcome." I just said.

He looks into me.

Yes, awkward feeling.

Then he stand up and cleaned his mess then he get his lunch box.

"Ok. Thanks for having lunch with me." he said and left. "See you around."

"Ok." I just said to him.

   Sighed.

I clean my food then I get my lunch box. I need to wash this. I walk to the pantry.

   You know, the thought of having him near me? It makes me feel shiver. The thought of he is there? It makes me feel conscious. The thought of him, it makes me feel insane. How many times do I need to say it to myself that... that... Stop.. Stop it, Renee'.

   He's the problem here. He is. He really is. I walked back to my workstation.

Sighed.

Then, I stared on my monitor while standing in front of it.

"Hey, you're monitor will melt because of your stare. Sit down. What happened?" said by Gail after tapping on my shoulder.

I was a bit shock on her tap.

"Nothing." I just said and sit on my chair.

" Renee', do you still have pending request today?" Lindie asked.

"Nothing. Why? I'm done with all the requests on my queue. It's empty now." I said to her.

"Good. We will have a team date later after shift." Lindie said.

"Why?" I said

"We'll go to watch a movie. It's a movie date for the team." Mac replied.

"It was scheduled by Ma'am Iya." Gail said.

"Where?" I asked.

"In  the mall, here near to our office." Mac Replied.

"Ah, what's the title of the movie?" I asked again.
