Chapter 12

So sonic wasn't in mystic jungle but the rookie is taking us right to him.

'' Thanks for bringing us to sonic.'' Rookie looked over his shoulder and gave Tails a thumbs up.

'' Hehe.'' The young fox grew more excited with every step.

''Sonic!'' As he flew into sonic's arms you and classic sonic walked in.

''I was sooo worried, I thought you were...''

'' You worry too much, look i'm perfectly fine.

'' *GASP* (Y/N)!'' Silver, Amy everyone ran over to you and hugged you.

'' We're so you escaped and that your ok.'' As welcomed you with a hug. Sonic noticed that his classic self was there.

'' It's been generations since i've seen you, you ok?'' Classic sonic smiles and gave him a thumbs up. You walk next to classic sonic and gave him a smile and he jumped to your level and set a kiss on your cheek. 

''Hehe.'' 

''The good news is you're safe, the bad news is Eggman said he had some plan that would destroy us all in three days.''

'' Three days huh, a lot can happen in that time.''

''Eggamn said when the plan is complete we'll all be wiped out.''

'' I don't like the sound of that, normally i'd just laugh at an Eggman plan but he's already conquered most of the world, so... what's this plan of his.''

'' Hey I hate to  butt in on your important meeting but we're under attack, Shadow is tearing through our troops we need reinforcements!''

''Shadow ... the last time I saw him he was fighting for Eggman.'' 

'' That doesn't make sense, why would shadow help the enemy?''

''Perhaps he's being controlled by that strange power?''

'' Whatever it is, I'll figure it out.''

'' Me too, if you don't mind?''

''Come let's hurry then.''  You speed walk into the elevator with sonic.

'' Be careful out there.''

'' I will Silver.'' 

As you and sonic race through the city that is consumed by flames and chaos. You followed sonic hoping to prove your theory, If what you saw 6 months ago was true.

'' What the heck, a whole army of death egg robots!?"

'' Oh no, there are to many of them!''

'' Hurry guys, we can keep  them in cheek,but not for long.''

'' That'll work, we'll find shadow and be back in no time.'' 

'' Just a little longer guys, i know you can do it.''

'' Thanks (y/n).''

Dodging bombs and destroying robots on your way there.

'' This many death egg robots, come on seriously?'' 

Jumping over this huge gap and landing on the other side.

'' Hey sonic, do you have any ideas why Infinite is our enemy?''

'' Hmm, now that you mention it no, why ?''

'' Well...''

You soon saw a the road up ahead turn into loop and you weren't very good at loops. Sonic looks back at you and grabbed your hand.

''You ready?''   ''Ya.'' starting to head up the loop. 

'' listen up, shadow has been sighted!''  '' Apparently he's traveling above the at high speed!''

Using small plat forms, bounce pads and enemies to get to our destination.

''Be careful you guys!''  We quickly stopped in our tracks and there he was with his arms crossed.

''Alright shadow what's the deal?'' You pull out your weapon just in case.Without hesitation shadow charged. You stepped in front of sonic and aimed your (y/w) at him.

''Shadow don't do this!'' But he wasn't listening.

'' Chaos control!'' Everything became blue, everything slowed and the real shadow hit the fake shadow immediately getting him away from you.

''Another shadow?!'' When he said that the fake shadow started to glitch the eventually faded away.

''He just disappeared.''

'' *Gasp* Shadow!'' You leaned over and hugged him. You set your cheek on his head and wrapped your arms around his neck. He set his hand on your back hugging you back, you could say he had a soft spot for you. You pull away.

''What you saw was a fake.'' 

''A fake, how?''
