Chapter 33

Sonic and rookie waited for the steel elevator doors to open. Finally they do and they both run into the room. 

" (y/n) you're back!"

He looks around and notices that Infinite wasn't with you.

" Hey, where's you boyfriend ?" You blush uncontrollably. 

" Sonic stop it, and he had to go somewhere."

" He didn't tell you where he was going?"

" Silver." 

He looks back at Amy and sighed.

" No he just said he needed to go alone."

" Oh."

Everyone stood quiet for a few seconds.

" Um everyone... I ...um."

Everyone turned their attention to the rookie.

" Ya buddy"

 He looks at sonic the at everyone else. 

"...hehe It's nothing."

" ? " 

" Um ok."

" Well it's just... I'm glad were all together."

" Ya ."

Infinite was still walking to his destination. It was gonna take him a while longer to get there. The sun was now gone and the moon stood in the sky in It's crescent phase. He stopped in his tracks and looks up at the moon. It reminded him of that last night him and his squad spend outside  before they found the abandoned house. 

That night they howled at the moon. That night he was a little shy about howling in front of everyone, but they encouraged him to join and it was a great night.

" Hmph..."

He continued on his way. Everyone had left  the hide out and went home their home. Everyone stayed in the same house.

Vector, Espio and charmy slept in the one room. Team dark went their own way. You stood in a room with Amy, and for tonight  the rookie slept in the same room as sonic, silver and Tails. The rookie walks into the room and sees sonic relaxing on a mattress  on the floor.

" Oh hey buddy, come to join the party?"

" Hehe I guess."

" Hey rookie, you'll sleep over here with Tails, since my bed is a little  bigger so there should be enough for you both.

" Oh ok."

Silver and Tails swap beds for the night. Sonic stretched on his bed and yawned.

" Boy , i'm beat, what about you guy?" 

" I'm pretty tired myself."

"Same."

Silver raises his hand in the direction of the light switch and turned the light off. They all laid down and headed to sleep. 

Meanwhile with you and Amy. You had just finished taking a shower  and Amy had got into her pj's. Since you got out she had a bunch of of questions for you.

" So (y/n), when do you think Infinite will be back?"

You pause for a moment.

" I don't know..." 

" So you're just waiting for him to come back?"

" Ya. He said he would return and come back to me."

" AWW waiting for your knight and shinning armor to come back to you sigh~<3"

 " Ya kinda." 

" Ok, have you too kissed yet?"

" Yes."

" Gasp, really, when?" 

" When we were in that room and Sonic, silver, Tails and the rookie walked in."

" Oh that's why they were all acting  weird, they never did tell everyone what they saw."

" That's because what they saw wasn't something to take about."

"...What happened?"

" We were...um... making out on a table."

"Gasp, no way! JUICY! you guys are so cute together." 

" Aww thanks." You walk over to a mirror  and began to brush your hair. Amy looks down at this piece of paper in front of her.

" So what happened while you guys were gone?"

You froze for a second, thinking of an answer for this question.

" Um Infinite stormed out and I went with him to help him cool off."

You both stood silent. You hoped that she'd believe your story.

" Oh ok."

 You look at her through the mirror and you notice the paper in front of her.

" Did you write all these questions down?"

She looks up at you and hides the piece of paper behind her back.

" No..."

" Hehe."

You put the brush back on the dresser where you found it. You walk over and sat down on the bed next to Amy and covered yourself with the blanket. 

" Is there anymore questions you want to ask?"

" Hmm...nope."

" Ok, goodnight Amy."

" Goodnight (y/n)."

She turns to her left and turns off the lamp and lays down with you.

Infinite finally arrived at Eggman's HQ where he was fused with the phantom ruby...
