Chapter 9

'' Oh I forgot I had my communicator, I hope it still works.'' You press your fingertips  against your ear. 

''Hello can anyone hear me?!'' 

'' (Y/n) ar- -ou ok -here a-- you?!'' You could hear Amy's voice but she was buzzing in and out.

'' I c--t -ear y-- (y--)!'' 

''Shout she can't hear me, I love how life works out perfectly.'' You said sarcastically.

''Amy Green hill Green hill Green hill.'' You pull your hand away from your ear.

'' Darn it's broken, *sigh* I hope she heard me.'' You look at the blue sky.

'' ..... I'm not giving up on you, I never give up as you already know.''

''I failed sonic well i mean this world sonic... and Eggman's monster got him.'' Classic sonic just stood in front of him and listened.

''But your here now it's like the world needs a sonic any sonic to keep things in balance. If we defeat Eggman this war will be over and if we can find the secret to his power maybe  we can get you home.''

Tails then heard the sensor go off. ''Hey the sensor is picking up Eggman let's hurry!'' Classic sonic nods and follows Tails towards Eggman's direction.

You were walking down a big hill. The hill was quite  uneven causing you to slip. You fell on your back and slid down the rest of the hill.

'' .....ow ....pfffhahahaha.'' You sit up. '' That hurt hehe.'' You stood up dusting yourself off and kept on walking. After awhile of walking not really sure where you were going giving in to the thought that you were lost you decided to take different path around.

''Higher ground is a much easier way around.'' You squatted down bending your knees ready to jump as high as you could. Landing on the very top of the hill perfectly. You looked around looking  for the best route to get back to your friends and that's when you saw him.

''Sonic?'' He ran so fast you could barely tell it was him but who else could run that fast? 

'' Hey wait up!'' You jump from one mountain top to another after only a few seconds sonic finally stopped but he was hiding  with Tails. Your face lit up once you saw that Tails was ok you went  to go over to them but that's when you saw Eggman and Infinite. You froze in your tracks and quickly hid.

'' *huff* that was close.'' You look to your left and slowly and tried to listen to what they were talking about. Infinite  held a counter fit  of the phantom ruby and crushed it within his palm.

'' And with that the disposal of the phantom ruby prototypes  are complete.''

'' It was a defective model, It can only record the DNA of the one that triggered it.'' Sonic and Tails look at each other slightly confused.

''Only a being of my strength of will could ever activate it.''

'' It's doesn't matter now with the lab locked down in mystic jungle, which reminds me didn't you run into Sonic there after he escaped?''

'' Yes, but he was powerless against me there is no need for concern.''

''You let the hedgehog live that is a great source of concern!''

'' Maybe for you perhaps, He's beaten you for decades yet I defeated him in our first encounter''

'' A phantom ruby prototype, and sonic is alive?'' Infinite looks to his right, before he could see anything Tails and sonic ducked. You pulled out your weapon in case he tries to hurt them.

''What is it?''

'' Nothing, we move forward with plan?''

'' Of course , when it's complete the resistance will be erased. The world will be nothing but ashes from which a glorious Eggman empire will rise.''

'' And the resistance will yield to the phantom ruby's power all will submit to me.'' Infinite looks away. '' And my queen.'' Eggman nods and Infinite leaves in the opposite direction of Eggman. Once he was gone you tightened your grip on your (y/w). Sonic jumped out from behind the rock and ran over to Eggman. 

'' You and me both.'' You said before jumping out of your hiding place and attack Eggman from above. You and sonic double attacked Eggman by surprise.

'' I don't have time for this.'' Eggman tries to escape from both of you. you hit him a few more times  before he ran off. You look to your left. 

''Hey Tails,how you been?''

'' Uhh good thanks.'' You look at sonic realizing it was classic sonic from a few years ago.

'' Oh hey classic sonic it's been awhile.'' Sonic walks in front of you and takes your hand and kisses it.

'' Oh hehe still a gentleman i see, uh should we go after him?'' He nods his head and runs after Eggman. You look at Tails again and you start running towards him. you jump over the rock he was behind and tackled him.

''Aaah!'' 

''I missed you so much,we were all so worried.'' You nuzzle him.

'' (Y/n) I can't breathe.'' You release your tight grip on him but still held him in your arms. You started rapidly leaving kisses all over his face.

'' Aah noo (y/n) stop it.'' He tries to wiggle out of your grip.

'' Hehe ok ok.''

'' *huff huff*'' He looks up at you and smiles and you smile back.

'' Come on let's follow him.''
