Chapter 49

They all separate to their assigned spots and waited for the signal. Everyone was no ready to move in.

" Hey gadget?"

" Hm-"

Sonic crashes his lips onto Gadget's and soon pulls away.

" You ready?"

" Uh...ya." 

" Alright, We're waiting for your command, leader." Sonic mocked.

" On my count, 3...2...1, Go!"

Everyone charged towards the house.

Amy used her hammer to bust down the door and Zero burst through one of the windows causing glass to fly everywhere.

" Ahh... Infinite you could of used the door!"

" I know but it wouldn't have been as cool."

" Sigh"

You could hear someone down stairs and they had closed the door behind them.

(Amy's pov)

" (Y/n) are you here ?!"

The others soon burst through the rest of the windows.

" Woow that was awesome!"

" Oh come on you guys the door was right here!"

( Your pov)

You could hear someone slowly walking up the stairs.

" Oh my dear pet, I'm back." The room was dark but you could tell who it was.

(Silver's pov)

He and rouge bust through the roof into the second floor. Infinite and the others were on their way up the stairs. Silver looks around and...

 He presses his fingers against his ear piece.

" Guys she's not up here."

The others run into the room and silver was right, you weren't there. 

(Amy's pov) 

Zero stood there frozen.

" There's no sign of anyone being here recently."

Zero quickly turns around and leaves the room.

" Infinite?!"

" Oh no." Amy, Sonic , gadget and the others run after him.

" Infinite wait!" He runs  outside and walks a few feet away from the abandoned house.

 "Wait!"

He stops  as she stood a few feet away.

" It's ok, we'll find her. You said you weren't sure."

"  I did. but i was hoping she was, You don't understand!"

He turns around to face her as he had small tears in his eyes.

" I lost my parents because i was too weak. I lost my squad because I made the wrong decision!"

(Your pov )

" Why are you doing this? Why won't you just leave him alone?!"

" *Chuckle*, My sweet sweet toy. Do you really want to know?"

You glared at him.

' I'll take that as a " sure why not."He walks over and kneels down in front of you.

" The reason I'm doing this is because... i can. Soon i will pass and i wanted to visit all of my victim one last time. I'm pretty sure he's told you about me, That i enjoy others suffering, Has he not?"

Your glare only grew more intimidating. 

" *Chuckle* You're so cute when your angry." He places his thumb under your chin. Slightly pulling you closer. You pull your face away.

" Don't touch me!"

" Ooh feisty."

A tear finally escapes his eye and rolled down his cheek.

" I can't lose her too!"  

Amy drops her hammer to run over to him and wraps her arms around his neck.

" We will find her together, i promise." Her soft voice felt so calming and relaxing. He began to feel slightly better. He soon lifts his shaky hands around her form. He pulls her into a soft and shaky embrace.

Gadget walks over to them and joins the hug. Then charmy, then sonic and soon everyone joined the group hug, except for silver.

" Aww group hug!" Amy announced though the pile. Everyone's communicator went one. 

" Virtual hug!" Tails had cheered as everyone laughed.

" Thanks kiddo." 

" You're welcome Mr. Zero, welcome to the team."

"...Thanks."

Amy pulls away from him. 

" Wait, you're finally joining the team?" She asked with sparkles in her eyes as he smirked at her.

" ...Sure, why not?"

" *Gasp*!"

She hugs him again but this time her grip was much tighter.
