Chapter 18

You all made your way through Metropolis/Metropoliton Highway. Everyone took there own way around but you all stood in a big group. You took the rail with sonic and silver used his telekinesis to help you stay on the rail so you didn't fall. Once you and sonic found your way off the rail.

"Don't stop, Don't look back. Just focus on the task ahead no matter what!"

"If we can capture Eggman, we win. Found out where he's at, sonic!" You followed sonic through out the way. Where Eggman is Infinite can't be far.

" Sonic i'm coming with you!"

" Alright but we're gonna have to jump!" You both grabbed each others hands as you set your feet on the corner of the building you were on to give you another boost. You soar over the city. Of course you were sight seeing and that's when you noticed the missiles.

" Sonic!" He looked down and noticed them too.

" Quick, get behind me!" He pulls you behind him.

" Wait what about you?!"

" I 'll be fine." He spin dashes towards the missiles so you would have a clear path coming down. He lands and looks up and he runs back a few feet. He puts his hands near his mouth. 

" I'll catch you, do it now!" He was gonna have you  in his arms as he landed but now he had to improvise. Since the missiles were there he had to change his plan. You could run as fast as him and jump really high but you weren't invincible, landing from over 10 feet was risky.

You nod and turn your body sideways and spin to keep yourself in that position. 

" 1...2...3!" He ran closer and jumped as high as he could and he caught you prefectly bridal style. You wrap your arms around his neck and he lands. He continues to run with you in his arms.

"Guess all that practice paid off."

" I guess it did." After a while he was still carrying you.

" Uh... sonic you can put me down now."

" Why, Just pretend i'm Infinite." He deepens his voice. " You may call me Infinite." You smacked your hand against your face.

" Sonic look, i get the fact that your not totally uncomforttable with my theory and you'd support me with anything but please, Stop, I don't like him like that!" 

You lied again, well because you were worried what hte others would think and if your feelings made you lose focus. So you kept your feeling to yourself and hiden away. The true was you are in love with him. But you thought it was best to keep it a secret.

" We'll provide as much cover as we can."

" All right, chasing Eggman is what we do best. We'll track him down in no time." He then used the enemy robots to get across with you in his arm. He dedided to carry you the rest of the way. Jumping on another rail he noticed something.

" There is a big battle going on."

" It's ok, we can hold for now."

" Our other forces are onthe move, too. We can pull this off."

" Be careful, I'm detecting Eggman just up ahead!" You both see Eggman.

"Sonic over there." " I know." Sonic let's you go in midair and you both land in front of Eggman. You pull out your (y/w) and face it at him.

"Welcome sonic, (y/n). Glad you could make it to your funeral." Sonic looked confused.You looked back and noticed Tails was there then you heard.

" Infinite do it!" You immediately turned your head and you saw him. 

"Take this!" there was now ths black hole about 10 feet above us.

" What is that?!"

" Har-har, that, my spiky little frenemy, is null space."

"Null space?" Sonic looked back at both of you and signaled you both to get back and you did what he said.

" It's a little something that the phantom ruby cooked up. A closed-off space where absolutely nothing exists!"

You pull out this four inch piece of metal. You press the botton on it and it ejected into a metal pole.

"Good bye, sonic, my soon-to-be eradicated nemesis. Enjoy all the nothing!" Eggman leaves and Infinite releases a red ball of energy into the black hole.  He vanished and the black hole grew bigger. You spin the pole in your hand and stab it into the ground. Then he reappeared behind you and wrapped his arm around your waist and flew up.

"AAAAAHHH!" They both heard a screamand looked in that direction and you were gone. Sonic looks up and sees Infinite holding you.

"Put her down!" 

" You have other things to worry about hedgehog." He could then feel himself being pulled into null space. He couldn't grab onto anything.

"NO SONIC! Infinite stop this!"

"Silence!" He said with a bark. He held you closer forcing you to grab onto him by wrapping one of your arms around his neck and set your hand other on his chest. You obeyed his command and barried your face in his neck. He loved how submissive you were.

The rookie came out of nowhere and grabbed sonic's hand and used his grapple hook to keep him from being pulled in.

"Buddy, don't, you'll be sucked in too!" But the grapple hook wasn't strong enough. Infinite watched as they both were sucked in. You tightened your grip around him when you heard Tails scream...
