Chapter 44

You reached for her even though you were too far apart.

" (Y/n)!"

She put a pep in her step and ran after you. You squirmed in his grip. 

" Let me go!"

You used your elbows to try to hit him  but it seemed like your punch wasn't enough. She started pushing herself to go faster and she began to lose her balance causing her to trip. She quickly got back up but fell back onto the ground again caused by this overwhelming pain.

She looked back at her leg where she felt the pain coming from. There she saw that she had scraped her knee and it didn't look so good but she couldn't give up. She began to crawl but she couldn't get far.

She started to crying.

" *Sniffle* sob* It's all my fault,I left her alone. *sob*"

The ground in front of her was covered with tear drops. 

" I-I have to get help."

She picks herself up and skips back to the hideout.

You continued to scream and wiggle. After a while he began to struggle keeping you still. He threw you down  onto the floor and wrapped his arm around your neck, tightening his grip.

" That's enough, Time for your nap princess." He whispered in your ear. Tears started to build up in your eyes and your breathing was cut off. So many things were going through your head. That if Infinite was gonna be ok, Of course he would lose it. What would happen when you're gone. 

You choked until you passed out...

" Zero......."

Amy rushed inside the big room.

" Someone help!"

Sonic , knuckles, silver , Vector , Espio and charmy were the only ones there. Sonic noticed her in distress and ran over to help her.

" Amy, what happened?!"

" Oh no she's hurt!"

" Please!"

She looked back in the direction that lead outside.

" Amy what's wrong, where's (y/n)?!" 

" Someone took her."

" What, what do you mean took?!"

" He kidnapped her."

" Who?"

" I don't know." She began to cry again.

" Amy calm down."

Sonic picked her up and brought her over to the crates and sat her down.

" W-where's Infinite?"

" Uh he's training with omega, Rouge and shadow."

" Hmph, these attacks are still easy to dodge."

The two hour training finally finished and he went over to Tails to sit down and take a break. Zero looks at what Tails was holding.

" What's all that you brought?"

Tails looks away from the little device in his hands.

" Oh this? I brought it to see how fast are can go and to see how it improves. Since we're mostly focusing on your speed since your attack is already really good."

" Huh neat kiddo."

" Hehe thanks mr. Zero.'

"Heh just Zero is fine.'

" Oh ok mr. Zero."

" *Chuckles*"

Shadow, Rouge and omega made their way over to Zero and Tails.

" Not bad back there honey." Rouge complimented. That's when Tails got a call on his little device.

" We're getting a call form back at the hideout."

Zero leans closer to Tails to see who was calling. Tails pressed a button allowing the call to come through and he answered it.

" Oh hey knuckles, did you need something?"

" All of you, hurry back to the hideout, it's an emergency!"

" Oh ok, we're on our way." The call ended and Tails stood up.

" What is it ?" Shadow finally opens his mouth and asked.

" I don't know, but they want us to head back right away."

Zero exhales as he stood up too. He lays his hand on Tails shoulder.

" Well what are we waiting for, let's go kiddo."

Zero walked ahead and Tails followed.
