72. Bet Ya $50...

As we sat in Heath's room, he turned to me.

"So how did tutoring David go?" He asked.

"I made him blush about seventeen times" I said with a shrug and he grinned.

"And how did you manage that?" He asked and I smirked, reminiscing about the conversation we had about sex and virginity.

"Well or starters I pointed out the huge hickey on his neck" I said and Heath choked on his laughter.

"What? How did I miss that?" He asked and I shrugged.

"It's fucking massive, you must be blind" I joked, knowing his sight was pretty bad. He rolled his eyes and shoved me slightly, making me grin.

"Anything else interesting?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Not particularly. David found out I'm not a virgin and he just about had a heart attack" I said, shrugging in a nonchalant way. Heath's eyes just about fell out of his head as he really took in what I had just said.

"I'm sorry, what was that? You're not a virgin?" He asked, shocked for sure. Which only made me smile wider.

"Why did you all think I would be? I'm seventeen!" I protested with a laugh.

"Are you being serious right now?" Heath asked and I nodded.

"Heath, I know what sex is, I've had it. Why is this such a big deal to you?" I asked with a laugh.

"I have been holding out or the last three months because I didn't want to rush you into sex. But I could have been fucking you this entire time!" He said, rather loudly might I add.

"Heath! Shh! Do you want your mom to hear?" I whisper yelled. as his eyes went wide. We both stopped for a minute, listening out to see if anyone else had heard us but we looked to be okay.

We both sighed in relief at the same time.

"You didn't pressure me into sex because you thought I was a virgin?" I asked and he sighed again.

"No, I didn't pressure you into sex because I didn't want to pressure you into sex. I wanted sex to be natural and come when we both felt that way. I've felt that way for a while but figured you had never felt a strong sexual attraction to someone else before" He said.

"You think that in the last three months, you haven't made me horny?" I asked with a laugh as he went bright red.

"I uh, I never thought those words would come out of your mouth" He muttered and I shrugged.

"Shows how little you really know about me then, huh?" I said and he scoffed, rolling his eyes as he shoved me playfully.

"I don't want this to make you feel like we need to have sex now either" He said and I smiled at his sweetness, despite this awkward conversation.

"We'll know when we're ready Heath." I said and he smiled, sighing in relief.

"But we don't need to let those other bozos know" He muttered and I laughed.

"And by those bozos, you mean your friends?" I guessed and he nodded.

"That'll be the fucking day. They'll never let it go. You saw Scotty's face when he heard we hadn't had sex. And I can only imagine what David's reaction to hearing you weren't a virgin was" He said and I snickered at the look on his face.

"He just about choked on the water he was drinking" I said, understanding his point that the others wouldn't ever need to know.

"So" Heath said and I looked at him.
