Chapter 31

Haneul's P.O.V

Friday...

Namjoon is nervous as fuck. Within 3 hours, he's gonna meet Siena. Since Namjoon wanted me to 'witness' the propose, i have to come. I decided to call Siho. So I won't be bored. I'm sitting upside down, while Namjoon sits across me, sighing for the nth time.

I ignored his sighings. Just making my mind blank. "I know she'll accept me but oh god this is just so nervous to ask." - Namjoon said to himself. He went on and on talking about Siena.

I don't really wanna hear. Because it's hurting me. So i made my mind busy. By thinking about what should i do with my life. I sit up, laying on the sofa. We're in my house by the way. And there goes my mind, blank.

Fast forward...

"Are you done?" - i asked. Namjoon changed to a better outfit. And he's taking so long. It bores me. I heard the room door open. I got up, and see him walking to where i was.

An immediate smile was formed on my lips. I smile so wide just seeing him. He's using a casual outfit. Formal black pants, a white button up long sleeve tshirt and black suspenders. He looks very handsome. I'm melting inside but I'm smiling.

"How do i look?" - he asked.

"Great." - I answered, smiling. He smiled, his cute dimples showing.

"Oh wait." - i said. I adjusted his collars. And it's all good. His hair is neatly brushed to the side. Ah he just looks so handsome.

"Great. Let me put on my shoe." - he said. I nodded. He put on black shoes. Once he's done, he stands up.

"You got everything?" - i asked.

"Yeah. Ring, in my pocket. Wallet, phone. Done." - he said, checking everything. He always have a black clutch where he puts his stuffs. And at times, he'll put my phone and wallet in there too. Which every time, i end up forgetting to take them back. I end up phone-less for a night. Or, he'll come over at night to give it to me.

We head out of my house, going to the ground floor. I'll be meeting Siho at the nearest convenience store. Namjoon is driving. He turn to me and smiled. "Here goes." - he said. I nodded.

"Give me some strength." - he said. I put my hands, cupping his face.

"Believe in yourself. Don't be nervous. You'll do great. Fighting." - i said, eyes looking to each other. I caress his cheeks with my thumbs softly. He smiles. He pulled me into a hug. A tight hug. I don't know why but i felt a lump on my throat. I felt my eyes getting watery but i quickly wipe it away.

"Thank you." - he said softly to my ears. He broke the hug slowly. I felt something soft on my cheeks. As i heard a smooch. I was shocked that he kissed my cheeks.

"What's that for?" - i asked, with widened eyes.

"What? I can't kiss my best friend's cheeks?" - he asked.

"No. It's weird." - i said.

"Not for me." - he said with a smile. He pat my head and left. While i was kinda dumbfounded there. Guys, do your guy best friend kiss your cheeks? No right. I felt my cheeks burning. Oh wow.

"Haneul unnie?" - i heard someone called me. I turned around and it was Siho.

"Oh hi." - i said to her, slapping my cheeks softly.

"Who was that?" - she asked.

"Namjoon." - i said.

"Oh. He looks different." - she said. I just nodded. We walk to the restaurant.

Fast forward...

We're eating dinner. From where I'm sitting, I can see Namjoon and Siena. But Siena can't see me. "When's your delivery?" - i asked Siho. It's her first baby! So I'm kinda excited.

"In 4 months." - she said with a smile.

"You've know the gender?" - i asked. She nodded.

"Boy? Girl? Tell meeee!" - i exclaimed. I'm just excited. Who doesn't love babies? Everyone do! Siho laughed.

"Girl, unnie." - she said with a smile.

"Yay! I'll have another little small Siho." - i said with a wide smile. She laughed. Soon, i saw Namjoon and Siena leaves the restaurant. I received a text from Namjoon, saying they're going to Han River. I replied with an okay.

I told Siho about all those. We pay for our dinner and walk to Han River. While walking, i just feel so sad. Siho realised. She put an arm over shoulder, caressing my arm. "As far as i say it will be okay, i know you won't." - she said. I sighed.

"Why don't you tell him?" - she asked.

"No. He's proposing to Siena and suddenly i tell him that i love him? That's just weird." - i said.

"Right. I'm sorry, unnie." - she said with a sigh. I sighed too.

"It's okay. There's nothing to be sorry about. I know my life will be alone as always." - i said. She sighed.

"Plus I don't want it to be the same like how me and Sion's friendship was. I bet Namjoon will be the same." - i added and sighed. Siho sighed too, caressing my arm.

"Siena is Sion's noona right? Wouldn't it be awkward, unnie?" - she asked. I shrugged.

"I don't care if it is. As long as, Namjoon won't leave me, even when he's married." - i said. We finally arrive at Han River. I enjoy the night view of the river, looking around. I forgot what i was here for.

We sit on a bench as i was blanked by the view. It's so quiet. Just the sounds of the river, splashing. My phone rings. A text from Namjoon.

'From: My Bodyguard
Where are you? It's time.'

I let out a faint smile. Showing the text to Siho. We went to where Namjoon was. But hiding behind the trees. I don't really hear what he was saying. Because we're quite far. I let out a sigh. Soon, Namjoon kneeled on one knee, taking out the ring box and open it.

I saw his lips moving. Wasn't sure what he said but I'm sure he asked. A tear fell from my eyes. I saw Siena nodded with a wide smile. I got up, slowly. And run away. I was so hurt. No words could describe it. It hurts so badly. I run, continue running. My tears won't stop falling.

:( nuu it's so fast! I am not even done with Jin's fanfic, as in typing it out. I'm stuck with his fanfic but I'm doing my best and putting my all in his fanfic.

Anyways, today, my man is enlisting to the army. 😪😢 who's my man? G-Dragon, Kwon Jiyong. He's my first bias in this kpop world. And he is still my first. Which explains my username, KWONkimminjeon. He's my first and will always be my first. I'm gonna miss him 😭 i hope he'll do well and come back soon and ot5 to come back too. Love you very much Kwon Jiyong ❤️
