I run to my locker and try to grab my stuff before Gene can bug me.
"Hey, Rose."
"Bye, Gene."
"Wait! I want to tell you something."
"What the hell do you want, Gene?!?"
"If you don't join the Shadow Knights I will tell the whole school that you are a monster."
"I am not a monster."
"If that is what you believe then you will join the Shadow Knights."
"Whatever."
"You also have to date me." He walks away. I gather my stuff and run home. I walk in the door and run up the stairs. I drop my stuff, change into my pj's and flop onto my bed. I am asleep before my head hits the pillow.
*Dream*
"Mi'lady Lizzy it's urgent. Garte has requested your presence!"
"Okay let's go!" We run to the guard station.
"Lizzy, I have three orders of business for you."
"State them, My Lord, and they will be done."
"The Lord of Blackfoot has fallen and you need to replace him."
"Done."
"You need to find Lord Cadenza's brother, Laurence Zhavl."
"Done."
"The last order is, you need to marry Laurence Zhavl."
"What!!!"
"I'm sorry but all Jury of Nine members need to be married before they turn twenty or we have to kill them."
