A Stupid Crush-Pipabeth

Chapter 9

Once Annabeth stopped sobbing, she let go of me and we both sat down on her bed.

We sat in silence, a bit perplexed about what had just happened. Many questions floating around our minds.

Annabeth looked over at me and asked, "Can i sign your cast?"

i looked down at my cast, not even realizing i had one of those. "Yeah." i replied. "Go ahead."

So Annabeth got up and grabbed a sharpie from her desk. She walked over to me and sat down. She gently grabbed my arm and wrote her name on my cast.

i admired her pretty cursive, and overall beautiful handwriting. "Thanks." i said.

She nodded. It was silent again, until she suddenly scooted closer to me, laying her head on my shoulder. "What happened Piper? I'm so confused."

"Me too."

"Does this...are we...um..dating?"

i blushed violently, not even taking into consideration that fact. i stuttered while saying, "well..uh..i mean..only if you want to..."

"Alright, you should probably go." She said.

My heart dropped as she said this, i guess she didn't want that. "Goodnight Piper, my new girlfriend." And she leaned over to kiss me on the cheek.

Stunned i turned around to watch her get under her covers and pretend to be asleep. So i got up and turned off the lights, i was almost out her bedroom door when i turned around.

After a quick decision, i walked over to her bed and kissed her back on the cheek. "Goodnight." i whispered.

She smiled and i left the room.
