"Woah, dude!" Blaze exclaimed, seeing my red face. "What happened?"

"N-Nothing!"

He smirked.

"Is it Aph?"

"H-How did you know?"

"I see the way you look at her. I know you want some~"

That just made my face burn.

"So, are you guys a thing now?"

"I don't know..."

He seemed intrigued and asked;

"How do you not know?"

"Well, you see...there's this guy that I also have a interest in as well."

"Of course you do. I mean, it must be easy for you."

"What do you mean?"

"Garroth, I'm gonna be honest. You're an attractive guy. Why wouldn't somebody fall for you?"

"The same reason why you didn't." I say, smiling.

"Heh, I guess you have a point in that argument."

It was a work class in science today, for a lab so, we could just talk. I didn't understand it but, Blaze was so easy to talk to. Oddly. When you first meet him, he's one of the intense people ever. Then, you get to know him and you can't tell if he turned it down a few notches or you're just used to it. He really is my best bro...

"Okay. I've been meaning to ask you this." He says, recording down a few findings in the experiment. "So, I'm your best bro, correct?"

"Yes."

"Then, who's Laurance?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you two basically act like brothers."

"Then, I guess we're that."

"Hm."

He seemed to he thinking about something. I wanted to ask him what it was but, Blaze has his moments of seriousness that you just...can't question I guess.

"Just brothers?"

"Yes. Why are you questioning about this a lot?"

"Well, Laurance and I have been best friends for a long time but, I've never seen him bond so much with someone like you so quickly. He talks about you and tells me the jokes you tell him. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be surprised if you two became a thing."

"Nah. We're just friends. Besides, I think he's straight."

Blaze just laughed.

"What?"

"Bro, he's bi."

"Oh...so, basically almost all my guy friends are bi?"

He chuckled.

"Maybe!"

We continued the lab and kept writing down notes. I was trying focus on the task when;

"Garroth, will you promise me something?"

I looked up at him, confused but, I nodded. He looked down at me. His protective goggles from the lab were on making his hair a bit messy. Sincerity were in his eyes, making me know something was up.

"Promise me, that no matter what you'll be safe?", He asked. "Even when it feels like it's right, to think of a safer way?"

"What if it is the only way?", I asked.

"Then...go deeper into that brain of your's. I know that you always have a solution for anything.", He says. "I say this because...there's something going on right now and I don't want you to get involved with it. But, just in case, be safe."

"Heh, I will...I promise.", I smiled softly. "Why are you so deep all of a sudden?"

He sighed and chuckled.

"I don't know...just instincts I guess.", He said and went back to work. "Besides, you're my bro. I gotta make sure your safe, ya' know?"
