I walk down the hall of schools and everyone was talking about the Protector and the Howler. It's kind of overwhelming. People really do think I'm a hero.

"Garroth!"

I look behind me to see Blaze rushing up to me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and continue to walk with me, while I had a huge blush on my face.

"Are you hearing about the Howler and the Protector," He asked with a smirk.

"Y-Yes, but, I mean, who in Scaleswind hasn't," I asked, chuckling a bit. "Everyone knows about them."

"Yes but, have you've heard the rumor that the two are devilishly handsome?"

I blushed even darker.

"W-Who told you that?"

"Everyone. What do you think?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you think either of them are cute," He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Umm, I don't know. Who do you t-think?"

"Well, Protector seems to be the most handsome guy ever but, I bet you Howler is pretty much the same," He says, letting go of my shoulder.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah. I mean, why not blame him? He seems to have a lot of muscle under that suit, right?"

I rolled my eyes, thinking of that flirt of a dog.

"Who knows? I'm not really thinking about it too much."

"Why? You're bi right?"

I blushed and stopped in my tracks.

"How d-d-did y-you know t-th-that?"

"Heh, you blush at every flirt you get. No matter what gender?"

"Isn't that normal?"

Blaze shrugged.

"I don't blush."

"S-Sure."

We continue to walk down the hall towards our classes.

"Can I ask you a question, Garroth," He asked.

"Of course."

"Do you like me, as a friend?"

I was shocked by the question.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I like you?"

"Well, you just always seem to be nervous around me."

"Really? Blaze, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

"Ha! It's okay bro!"

"B-Bro?"

"It's what I call all my friends. Can I call you that?"

"Sure!"

He let out his fist and I bumped it back with mine.

"I'll see ya soon, bro!"

"You too!"

I waved as he left, him smiling as he walked down the hall. He's a nice guy.

Lunch. Now, Scaleswind Boarding school has a pretty good menu. They're food isn't disgusting like back at my normal high school at O'Khasis.
