You could take 100 days without texting me back.
Yet, I will take seconds to text you.
During those 100 days I will doubt myself.
I will destroy and recreate myself just to catch your eye.
But I don't catch your eye.
I carve myself out to appear thinner because maybe you don't like my body.
I thread my face and pluck my eyebrows.
But you do not notice.
And that is on me.
I lose myself to find you.
