"Jason thank you for tonight, it was... an unforgettable night," Max smiled and Jason snickered at her choice of words.

"What can I say, I'm an unforgettable guy," he flexed his arms, showing off his muscles but she just rolled her eyes.

"Hey at least I was sincere about mine," Max teased while opening the door to her room.

"Well this is it... umm see you tomorrow?" Max shrugged, unable to shake the feeling that she wasn't going to be seeing him again. Not to mention he acted more distant than usual.

"Yeah, sure. Goodnight," Jason spilled out awkwardly and left just as fast. Max followed suit, walking in to room and plopping down on her bed face first. Well that was embarrassing. Was I too forward saying I would see him tomorrow? Will I see him tomorrow? Why wouldn't I? I don't know... I'll probably die of embarrassment first.

"Max close off your mind, I have enough to deal with with Jason in my mind as it is. You two are the most talkative people I know. And I love to talk."

Max chuckled and leaned further in to her pillow with a sigh, then she let her curiosity get the better of her. "What is he saying?"

"Just how much he loves you."

"Really?"

"No, of course not. Learn to take a joke."

Max rolled her eyes irritatingly and said begrudgingly, "You shouldn't joke about that anyway."

Luna barked a laugh and woke up one eye before she closed it again.

"Why? Were you hoping it was true?"

"No," Max huffed, refusing to open her eyes as she dug her face deeper into her pillow, coming up for air every once and a while.

"You're both so oblivious it hurts my head."

"Say something Luna?" Max yawned, missing the last thing Luna said.

"I said go to sleep, tomorrow's a big day."

"Why?"

There was a long pause between the two, Max unable to go to sleep until she got a response and Luna unable to respond.

"No reason, now go to sleep."

Max suddenly found herself too tired to resist and was soon asleep before she knew it.

Jason packed the last set of clothes in his suitcase, putting his laptop on top before zipping it up. He ran his hand through his hair, an irritated sigh ripping through the room.

"I just don't get it Luna. Why now? I can't leave..."

"If not now than when?"

Jason couldn't think of an answer, he knew it was coming, ever since he joined student council.

"What are you going to tell Max?"

Jason sighed burying his face in his pillow. "I haven't thought about it... I was just thinking..."

"You would leave? She'll hate you forever."

"She'll probably get over it? Well what am I suppose to say? 'Sorry I'm moving to a place I've never been to, for who knows how long, with people I don't know?' Yeah not the best way to open the conversation."
