Three Days.
Three days until the deadline for Christmas I've been practicing for two days straight nonstop everything was almost done expect the music, damnit Joey he may be my boss he's an moron when it comes to scheduling - now here I am in my apartment reading over the sheet to 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' by Dean Martin. Sighing I threw the sheets down on the coffee table and head towards my bathroom, turning on the water and dropping a bath-bomb into the tub. Taking out my phone opening it to Youtube for 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' because why not, taking off my clothes as the music plays in the background.

I really can't stay
(But baby, it's cold outside)
I've got to go away
(But baby, it's cold outside)

But unbeknownst to her on the other side of the wall someone was conveniently washing up in their shower as the music seep through a vent next to the tub, muttering the lyrics

This evening has been
(Been hoping that you'd drop in)
So very nice
(I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice)

Alice sat in her tub as she sings along to the melody and popping little bubbles in the colorful water as the person, slowly eases into the music singing a little more louder on each verse along with Alice who paid no attention to the second voice.

My mother will start to worry
(Beautiful, what's your hurry?)
Father will be pacing the floor
(Listen to the fireplace roar)
So really I'd better scurry
(Beautiful, please don't hurry)
Maybe just a half a drink more
(Put some records on while I pour)
The neighbors might think
(Baby, it's bad out there)
Say, what's in this drink?
(No cabs to be had out there)
I wish I knew how
(Your eyes are like starlight now)
To break this spell
(I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell)
I ought to say no, no, no
(Mind if I move in closer?)
At least I'm gonna say that I tried
(What's the sense in hurting my pride?)
I really can't stay
(Baby don't hold out)

Ah, but it's cold outsi-

Sudden coughs cause Alice to jump in the water as the coughing continues.

"Hello? Someone there?"

She called out to someone.

"Sorr- *coughs* Sorry I didn't mean to scare you *cough* the music was coming through the vent."

She looked around the room trying to find the source of the voice until she spots the vent at the end of the tub, Alice crawls over to the opposite end of the tub to hear the person more clearly as well to ask questions to them but the sound of silence expect the sound of the shower head on the other side of the wall.

"So, how long have you heard the music?"

"A few days."

"Why'd you cough?"

"I uhh I got shampoo in my mouth..."

Chuckling to themselves awkwardly as they sit in the corner of their tub, Alice becomes more interested in the person she met.

"What's your name?"

"... (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N) and you are?"

"Alice Angel."

Merry Christmas, everyone!
(I'm sorry if this is lazy)
