9- Moving In

It was about a month after Sarah and Connor had started dating and getting closer that they decided it was time to move in together. Connor and Sarah took the day off from their shift at med. Sarah had already packed all of her stuff up in boxes. She borrowed her friend's truck to help her move all the boxes to Connor's house. Sarah was tired since she had spent most of the past night packing. Today was the day to get settled in. It was only a couple weeks before Christmas. They felt like it was the timing was perfect. Both of them were really excited to spend the holidays together!

Sarah parked at Connors place beside the door. She walked up to Connor's house, propping the door open. One by one, Sarah started to move the boxes in. "Why didn't you tell me you started moving things in??" Connor asked as he started to help her. Sarah shrugged as they moved every box in the house.

After they were done Sarah took her friend's truck back and drove her car back to Connor's house... Their house now anyway. She walked inside. Connor started to unpack the box's that said "Kitchen". "You have so many kitchen things." He said as he looked up. "Some of them I have  never even heard of.."

"I thought it would help me cook but it definitely doesn't.. Still can't cook." She smiled and walked over to unpack the rest. "Maybe, I will just have to teach you," Connor smirked as he continued to help her unpack all her stuff.

Mid-way through unpacking, Sarah looked to Connor as she turned on Christmas music. She smiled, "I didn't even bring all of my stuff. I still have a few boxed at my place.. I just thought if I did bring everything... it would feel overwhelming, ya know?" he nodded. "mhhm, we will get the rest.. with time." Rhodes kissed her before he continued unpacking.

When all the unpacking was done, Sarah sat down on one of the stills in Connor's kitchen area. She had started to read one of the medical books she had gotten from her last class. Connor walked in the kitchen. "You are seriously too cute." he said as he leaned against the doorway with his hand in his pockets. She looked up from the line of text she had just gotten done highlighting and smirked. He walked closer to her and looked over her shoulder to see the book, "What are you reading?"

"I'm reading about the Circulatory System, which I know you take a particular interest in," she looked up at him smiling. "I can help you if you want.. any time. Now that we live together, sleep in the same bed, you know where to find me," He walked to the couch and turned on the TV. She smiled as she looked at him before returning to her book.

Sarah continued her usually study technique, highlighting all text she considered important. You can never stop learning if you want to be a successful doctor.

Soon connor went off to bed. Sarah stayed up reading the book. She got tired and put her head down. She only expected to close her eyes for a few minutes, but before she knew it she was off the sleep. Connor got up to check on her out of recent habit. When he walked into the kitchen he saw her sleeping so he gently woke her up and helped her to bed. Both of them were dreading the next alarm.

Sorry for the big gap in publications. I usually try to publish one part a day, but finals are really taking up most of my time.
