She woke up and immediately pressed a kiss to his cheek, shaking him awake, "Dami! Dami wake up! It's Christmas!" She exclaimed as he groaned and nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, "It's also five in the morning." He retorted as she nodded, "And it's Christmas." She repeated, sitting up and humming to several different Christmas songs, spliced into an odd and extremely random order. "Mar'i, shut up." He grumbled as she laughed and got up, stretching her arms above her head, "Don't be so grumpy Dami." She twirled around the room to get ready and pulled him up, "Everyone's probably downstairs already." She insisted as he tugged her back onto the bed and snuggled against her, "Just cuddle with me." He murmured as she laughed, "But you don't like cuddling." She stated as he nodded, "I dislike mornings further." He sleepily mumbled as she giggled and peppered playful kisses across his jaw and throat. "Can we stay here just a couple more hours?" He asked as she rolled her eyes, "Aren't you excited for presents?" She asked as he shook his head and caressed her cheek. She pulled the blankets further up over their shoulders in order to battle the frosty December air and ruffled his hair, "C'mon, baby." She cooed, trying to coax him out of bed. "Hmph." He rested his head on her chest and she laughed, running her fingers through his hair.

"What'd you get for me?" She thoughtfully asked as he smirked, "You'll just have to wait and see." He said as she groaned and lightly hit his shoulder, "The only reason I'm waiting is because of you." She whined as he annoyedly got up, "Fine, I'm up." He said as she gleefully flew up in the air and hugged him tightly, wrapping her legs around his waist. "I'll be downstairs." She said before kissing him and zipping away.

Fifteen minutes later Damian walked downstairs, ruffling his damp hair with a towel to find the living room full of people opening presents. "What?" He instantly said, confusion seeping into his voice, "It's quarter past five, why is everyone up?" He asked as Mar'i smirked, "I told you everyone would already be up." She said as he rolled his eyes and sat down, pulling her into his lap and resting his chin on her shoulder. "I'm not comfortable with this." Dick muttered as Damian smirked and kissed Mar'i's cheek. He glared at Damian who unapologetically grinned, "Presents." He suddenly declared, handing everybody but Mar'i an envelope containing a hundred dollars each.

"What, did you forget about your girlfriend?" Jason asked, leaning back on his hands. "No." Damian hissed, "I just got her an actual gift." He grabbed a box, neatly wrapped in red and gold paper and handed it to Mar'i. She grinned and tore off the wrapping paper, opening the box to reveal a shiny metal tiara with a purple star on it, similar to the one Mar'i wore on patrol, along with a new uniform. "Damian, where did you get this?" She breathed in shock as he shrugged, "Tamaran." He blatantly answered as she grinned and hugged him, quickly kissing him, "Thank you, this is the best gift ever." She mumbled to him as he smiled, "Oh, I also have this. This is for you too Grayson." He said, handing Mar'i a card. She moved to sit beside her father and gingerly opened it, pulling out the card inside and carefully reading it.

Immediately tears sprung to her eyes and she blinked them away. Dick, to everyone's shock, looked up and smiled, "Thanks." He muttered as the younger man nodded, "It's okay." He awkwardly said as Mar'i wiped her tears away and smiled at him, "I love you." She whispered as he half-smiled and supportively took her hand, intertwining their fingers.

"Dude, what was in that card?" Jason discreetly whispered to him as he shrugged, "I asked Kori to write something, I don't know what." He whispered back as Jason nodded and said nothing further.

They quickly went on with the day, eating then arguing on what movie to watch, eventually deciding on Home Alone after Jason punched both Tim and Bruce. Which then lead to a drinking game that ended with everyone just the slightest bit tipsy. It was okay though, because during Christmas they all tended to stay at the Manor for a few days which, conveniently, still had all the things that they had left behind because Bruce didn't have the heart to throw them out. It eventually grew late and they all retired to their designated rooms.

"Merry Christmas Mar'i." Damian whispered to her once they were comfortably lying in bed, snuggled against each other. "Merry Christmas baby, I love you." She murmured as he smiled and kissed her, "I love you too." He mumbled against her lips as she grinned. This was, by far, the best Christmas either of them had had in a long time. And it was because they were together.
