Buckle up kids, it's a long drive
They all grouped on the array of couches that had been haphazardly strewn across the room. "Titans, just, uh... get some rest." Their exhausted leader ordered, his words, however, seeming more like a suggestion than anything else.
"Why don't you try that once again, this time with a little more enthusiasm." Lian sarcastically muttered, flopping onto one of the old sofas that lay in the warehouse they had set up camp in. "If you've got a problem, Harper, feel free to voice it." Damian hissed. She fixed him with a glare and said, "We've been walking through sand and snow for three days to get to who knows where! You won't let us use a car or a ship, you won't let anyone use powers! What is your fucking problem!?" She screamed at their nineteen year old leader. He tersely crossed his arms and snapped, "My problem is that the team has become lazy and slow! If any of you wish to question my authority, feel free to leave. Your position will be hereby terminated." He threatened. No one dared to move, seemingly trying to outlast each other. Daring the other to move first.
"Good." He barked after the silence had stretched on long enough, taking his place on the empty couch between Colin and Cerdain's before promptly falling asleep.
Come morning, their leader was still in the seemingly maniacal state he was in the previous evening as they trekked through the frozen air, eventually coming to a stop in front of a large stretch of ice. Silently, he grabbed a small remote type device from his utility belt and pressed a few buttons.
Slowly, pixel by pixel, a massive ship appeared in front of them, "Everyone on board." Damian muttered as they compliantly hopped onto the ship, all massively curious as to where it would take them.
The ebony haired man leant over the control panel, typing in what was probably coordinates.
Discreetly, Jai leant over to Iris, "I'm calling it, he's lost it. I mean, we're literally going to, what? The moon? Another planet? Another galaxy even?" He anxiously hissed as his twin nodded, "Yeah, he's definitely got a few screws loose." She whispered back.
Suddenly the ship lurched into the air, knocking all of them but Damian down. "Dude! What the fuck!?" Colin yelled, but all he got back was a muffled apology, only to be followed by the ship drastically speeding up. Fighting to get up, Colin stepped to his friend's side, "Wayne, look at me for a sec." He ordered as the younger man looked at him, "What?" He dazedly asked. Colin ran a hand through his auburn hair and sighed, "Why is this so important to you? Can you at least tell us where we're going?" He asked as Damian tersely shook his head, "You will think that I am both imbecilic and will want to leave, immediately dubbing this mission pointless." He mumbled before turning back to the control panel, intently watching the map that showed how far away from the destination they were, whatever it may be.
Colin turned back to his other teammates with a shrug, "He thinks that if we know what the mission is we'll think it's stupid and want to back out." He informed them as they all exchanged confused looks.
Damian turned around, "I'm going to have a shower, we should arrive by noon, be ready to fight, whatever it takes. This is something we can't lose." He warned as they all nodded and watched him walk to another room in the massive aircraft. "This is clearly super important to him, why won't he just tell us?" Lian sighed before collapsing in one of the chairs. "I don't know." Jon sighed, "But he's right about one thing; I need a shower."

With noon fast approaching, Damian became more and more anxious. He adjusted his gloves and fitted his katanas to the sheaths on his back. It was odd, considering he never used them on missions. He didn't kill, at least, not anymore. While he geared up, his gaze was fixed on the blue and orange planet that grew closer and closer by the second.
