clementine: Stanley?
stantheman: Yes?
clementine: this is Mike.
stantheman: And you are?
clementine: a close friend of Bill's.
stantheman: I don't need to talk to you.
clementine: no, you don't. but you should.
stantheman: Give me one good reason.
clementine: because something's wrong with Bill.
stantheman: Explain.
clementine: pretty much all of our friend group has tried talking to him today and he hasn't responded.
stantheman: Maybe he's just busy.
clementine: no, you have to understand. he always answers. no matter what.
clementine: in a way, I could almost guess that you would know that even better than we do.
stantheman: Yeah.
clementine: well, do you know what happened?
stantheman: No.
clementine: have you talked to him recently?
stantheman: A little.
clementine: and?
stantheman: And what?
clementine: did he say anything unusual?
stantheman: Not exactly.
clementine: that doesn't really tell me much.
stantheman: It's not supposed to.
clementine: i'm just going to assume he said something unusual then.
clementine: and you said something unusual back.
stantheman: I don't know what you're asking me to do.
clementine: talk to him.
stantheman: I'm not in the mood.
clementine: get in the mood.
clementine: bill's sensitive. i've know him to get rash about things like this.
stantheman: You haven't even read our conversation.
clementine: maybe not.
clementine: but I've got a little something called intuition and it's obvious you have it too.
clementine: and I know that you know something's wrong. you just don't want to admit it.
clementine: so get your ass off this chat and go talk to him.
stantheman: What am I supposed to say?
clementine: apologize for whatever mistake you made to hurt that boy's heart.
clementine: or you're going to have a bunch of losers after you.
stantheman: Damn.
