Chapter 28- Catherine and Ryan

"Dad, I'm home" I said, he was reading a book and looked up to say hi. He looked like he's disappointed, more like sad.

"Dad, ano problema?" maayos na tanong ko.

"Wala" sabi niya. I know there's a problem. "Dad tell me" I pleaded.

He sighed and looked down.

"I'm just thinking on what I'll do pag ako na lang mag-isa" I was shocked at what he said. Is this about my condition? mamamatay na ba talaga ako? he's probably joking.

"Ang drama mo dad!" sabi ko sabay tawa naman, but his face is still serious.

"Paano nga kung mawawala ka, ikaw na lang ang meron ako" he said sadly.

"Dad, hindi ako mawawala wag ka mag-alala" sagot ko naman tapos hinug ko siya. I really feel sad, then I remembered Marcus, how am I supposed to tell him? I'm so confused.

All night long I was thinking on how to tell him. This is what I was thinking and what his reaction will be:

Expectation:

"Marcus, I am sick. I'm afraid to die, please just, leave me before I hurt your feelings when I'm gone" He looked at me sadly and worried.

"I don't care what's going to happen, what matters is now, I'm with you" he said.

Maybe the reality:

"Marcus, I'm sick. Let's just break up before you get hurt" I said.

He looked mad "You could've just told me! and now we're just counting your days lefy, geez Cat, why are you like this?!" he shouted madly.

Thet! kinabahan ako sa maybe the reality. What if he's the one breaking up with me, maybe he won't love me anymore.

Stop being so negative! negra ka na nga, nega ka pa.

Luh luh luh! maputi ako, bish please.

Luh luh luh! you're crazy.

I'm right, I am crazy.

Ryan

I'm texting Ana right now, I miss her already.

"Miss na kita" I texted.

"Nagkita tayo kanina lang, hindi mo napansin?"

"Kahit na, I love you"

"I love you too" she replied.

"You tired? sleep ka na, goodnight"

"Yes actually, goodnight"

I felt sleepy so I closed my eyes and went to dreamland.
