Me and Tori went on many dates that I can't even count how many. Oo nga pala, Catherine and Marcus are dating now. It started when Marcus got sick, I know na sila nga talaga magkakatuluyan.

"Tori, double date tayo kasama nila Marcus and Catherine, masaya yun!"

"Hmmmm, sige payag ako but where?"

"Sa bahay ko na lang, maghahanda ako"

"Okay" then nanuod na lang siya, we're in her house. I called Marcus about the date and he said it was okay so set na lahat.

I recieved a text message from an anomynous number.

It said:

Ryan! long time no talk! this is Andrew Summers. My dad, owner of Arch University in New York, would like to have you as a student there and we are giving you a discount on your tuition. If you would like to study there, just call on reply on this number.

Ayos! I can study in New York but how about Tori? naku! mahirap ang LDR, but I know we can survive this. We already have plans, dapat mag-aaral kami sa UP, we can pass there especially her, she's smart.

Paano na?

"Ryan? ang lalim ng iniisip mo ah, is there a problem?" she asked.

"Ah, wala" yun lang sinabi ko. I can always say no to the offer even though it's sayang. Mom always wanted me to study abroad, patay na.

"Tori, I have to go home now, mom told me to" I just made that up.

"Okay, just call me"

"Bye, I love you" and I kissed her. "Goodbye" she said.

Marcus

I'm excited for the double date in Ryan's house. Catherine is in the hospital because of her dad, that's what she said.

Catherine

I'm in the hospital because of my condition, grabe ang sakit ng puso ko. I passed out awhile ago because I felt breathing shallow and I don't remember what's next.

"Dad, ano na daw?" tanong ko because he wasn't talking about what the doctor said.

"Cat, I can't tell you" he said.

Bakit?!

"Why?" my voice became a little bit louder. "Dad, I need to know" I demanded.

"Okay, I'm scared because you can die anytime!" he said angrily. Wh-what? is he saying I'm going to die or I can prevent myself from dying? I'm confused.

"Are you saying that I'm going to die?" I asked while the tears rolled down my cheeks.

"No, maybe yes, I don't know" was all he said. Dad naman eh, sagutin mo ako ng maayos!

He went out the room and I just lay there crying.
