His lips weren’t soft, like Troye’s were. They were rough and violent. His stubble stung and left red marks on my cheek. My eyes were wide open while he was really into the kiss with his eyes closed. His grip on me tightened when I desperately tried to get away. His tongue pressed against my lips and demanded me to open my mouth. I pressed my lips together as hard as I could for a while, but then I got an idea.

I opened up and let his tongue invade my mouth. He placed a hand behind my head, keeping me from pulling back. Once I had let him play around with my tongue for a bit and let him think I was into the kiss as well, I suddently bit hard down into his tongue.

He immediately pulled away from me and swore loudly. I used the opportunity to kick him hard in his crotch and ran into the kitchen. I didn’t have much time. As far as I knew, he was already running after me. I entered the kitchen and looked around. I grabbed a frying pan and shrugged. I didn’t have much time and it was the closest thing I could grab. Suddently the pan was taken away from me and I turned around to find Nicholas there. He was dangerously red in his face and I could see some blood dripping from his mouth. I had bit him even harder than I first thought.

“Bad boy, Tyler. That wasn’t so smart of you, was it?” he murmured lowly before lifting the frying pan up and swinging it through the air with a swoosh. I could see the pan coming towards me with a dangerously speed.

The next thing that happened went by extremely fast. Firstly, the frying pan didn’t come towards me anymore. I didn’t see it, though, so it could be that Nicholas was just going to smash me from a different angle. Well, it sounded weird and completely unnecessary, but, you know, he was a psycho after all.

Secondly, I noticed there were now three persons in the kitchen. Nicholas, me and Marcus. I turned around slowly, still scared of being hit by the frying pan. Marcus was holding the pan in his right hand and Nicholas seemed a bit more scared now that Marcus was here.

Then he straightened his back and put on a fake smile. “Well hello, Marcus. I didn’t expect you to show up here,” at that he turned to me and smiled a bit wider and a bit more fake. “You see, Tyler and I were just about to leave from our date together,” he began. If this was another time, I would have rolled my eyes and shook my head.

“Ah. Were you having a great time then?” Marcus asked sweetly, clearly faking it.

“Of course. I mean, it’s Tyler we’re talking about! He’s always good company, isn’t that right, Tyler?” he turned around to smile at me again and I almost puked. But I didn’t have any time for that, because in the next second, Nicholas was hit in the head with a frying pan. He immediately fell to the floor and stayed unconscious.

“We better tie him up and call the police before he wakes up” Marcus said quietly. I stared at him.

“How can you stay so calm?” I asked him with my eyebrows furrowed.

“I don’t know,” he shrugged. “We need a rope...” he trailed off, looking hectically around the big kitchen. “Tyler, go outside and find Zoe. Ask her about the rope Troye was wearing and bring it back in here”.

“All right!” I shouted after me, already on my way outside. I heard him call something after me, probably something along the lines of ‘hurry up’.

Outside the restaurant it was pitch dark. Without the light from the street lamps, I wouldn’t have been able to see anything. Eventually, I found Zoe by our minibus parked at the back of the restaurant.

“What’s happening in there?” she said nervously.

“Nicholas is unconscious, but we need the rope he used on Troye. Do you have it?”
