"You're pushing me too hard!"

I whined at Fergal. One of the only fights we ever have is about trying to get me to stand and walk.

"I'm pushing you hard because I want you to walk again, Pamela!"

"Well I know my limits and you're going over them!"

"I'm trying to push you over the limits so you walk, Pam."

Fergal said as I sighed.

"I can't do this anymore, Fergal. Maybe I just won't walk again."

I said as I started to cry.

"Hey, you're gonna walk again. That's why we're doing this. You wanna walk down the aisle at our wedding, don't you?"

Fergal asked. I wiped my tears as I looked at Fergal.

"I just can't do it anymore, Fergal. I can't do this anymore."

I sobbed.

"Don't cry. You're going to walk again, you hear me? Even if it's the last thing either of us do."

Fergal said.

"Come on. One more time for today."

Fergal said sticking his hands out. I took a deep breath as I pulled myself up. Then Fergal held me for balance and pulled one of my legs out. I wasn't doing it, but I was sorta walking. It was a step in the right direction. And that's all we needed for now.
