Josh ducked out of the way from the remote being thrown at him. He felt himself get pulled into his own thoughts. Back to when he first saw the inside of the journal. He had just left his math class, he saw El get pushed into the lockers. Everyone ignored the small girl getting shoved around. The halls cleared out quickly.Josh hid behind a pillar, he saw El quickly rush into the girls bathroom. Sitting on the floor was a journal, quietly he walked up and opened it. Inside the pages were full of messy words. Water marks in some places, he noticed how the marks were from tears. Before El left the bathroom he placed it back on the ground and watched her put her journal in her locker. He memorized the code. From then on after second period started he'd open the locker and read the journal, waiting for the empty pages to be filled.
Josh watched El get shoved daily, finally he decided that he had enough. It was time to take action. Time to come up with a plan.
