Akela! I had to help her! Alpha would kill her this time! I won't let it happen! I won't!

I yelped again as one of the wolves bit into my tail. It hurt badly. I tried to kick them off of my tail, but I wasn't able to kick them off.

Suddenly a different wolf jumped on me and tossed me back at the ground. I winced in pain. I threw my fangs at their snout, but I missed and slipped on the ground.

I was starting to fail winning against the wolves. They were very strong wolves, I didn't know what their names were, but I did know these were the wolves who were the strongest.

I can't lose this! I was determined to get to Akela and save her, but it was impossible to get past the wolves fighting against me.

I tried getting back up, but one of the wolves shoved me to the ground and held me there. I bit into his leg with all my might, but he still held me down.

He growled at me as he held me on the ground, "You're coming with us."

I wasn't going to go with them! I was going to go save Akela!

"No!" I barked in a flash.

I bit into his leg harder. I couldn't tell if he was in a lot of pain, but I could tell he was in some pain because he was wincing a little.

He kicked me in the snout and scowled at me. I yelped louder than before and shook my head, trying to get the pain away in my snout.

I noticed one of the other wolves grabbed my tail and with a stern grip, he started dragging me away. I screamed as they started dragging me away.

No! Akela! I have to stop Alpha before he kills her!

I started panicking. I tried kicking the wolf, but I couldn't reach far enough to kick them.

I knew that I wouldn't be able to get away from the wolves that had me, but I still tried anyway.

I quickly turned my glance to Akela. I noticed the whole pack was after her, mainly Alpha. I saw him aiming towards Akela's leg.

Her leg wouldn't stand another chance against him, and she herself wouldn't stand a chance. I noticed that Akela saw me looking towards her. She nodded with a frown a good-bye.

I can't lose her! I won't lose her! This isn't a good-bye!

I started to panic even more. I had to escape the wolf's grip. But how? I didn't know! I just had to get to Akela!

The wolves kept pulling me away as I struggled to escape from them. They so firm and strong. There's no way I'd be able to escape from them. I have to escape!

I struggled even more, but another wolf kicked me in my thigh. I shrieked in pain and started to scream again.

My scream turned towards Alpha, "Please! Don't do this! I'll do anything you want, just don't hurt her! Please forgive me!"

As I was dragged, Alpha turned towards me and barked back, "It's too late for forgiveness! I've had it with her and you! Her life will end!"

I started pleading for forgiveness, but Alpha turned back to Akela and ignored me. The wolves pulled me until I could no longer see Akela and the rest of the pack.

I screamed Akela's name with a cry. Alpha would kill her, and I couldn't go help her.

The wolf that dragged me away yanked my tail and threw me across from him. My glance then turned to the strongest of the wolves.

He stood in front of me with baring teeth. I didn't realize who the wolf was until now. It was Zach.

Zach? He helped drag me away! How could he?

He looked towards the other wolves and snarled at them, "I'll take care of him, all of you go watch for any predators!"

"But, sir, we can't leave you alone with him," one of the wolves said with a shaky voice.

"Go, now!"

The others wolves then quickly scattered away. I wondered what Zach was going to do with me, after leaving him without telling him what was going on.

Zach looked at me and made his voice quieter so that the other wolves wouldn't hear him, "Follow me. I'm going to help you save your friend."

Why would he want to help me anymore? I left him and never told him why.

I tilted my head with a frown in confusion, "W-why would you want to help me?"

He shook his head and whispered, "Because I've always admired how brave you've been. Standing up to Alpha and fighting against the pack, that's bravery."

I slightly smiled. No one has ever told me before that I was brave.

It wasn't long before I returned to a frown, "But Omegas can't be brave, they're the weakest."

He smiled a little, which was surprising because I'd never have seen him smile that often.

"The pack rules may say that the Omega is the weakest and disgrace to the pack, but that doesn't mean you can't be brave."

My smiled grew back again as I nodded. Zach smiled back and returned to being serious.

"Now let's go, follow my lead."

He helped me up fast and started leading me towards where Akela was.

I was sure the other wolves would find out about my escape, but they never did, or yet at least.

I wasn't sure if Alpha killed Akela already, or if Akela was still alive. All I knew was that I had to have some hope.
