This is a really long chapter, sorry about that. Although, you probably won't forgive me after reading this chapter ;)

I hated fighting. It hurt a lot. I didn't want to fight against more wolves, but I wasn't going to let Akela get hurt badly, especially since she has a wounded leg that could easily break.
I kept attacking any wolves that got near Akela. I'd bite them or shove them fiercely away from Akela.
One wolf suddenly scratched my jaw deeply. I yelped loudly and bit into their back leg.
They shrieked and threw me on the ground. I then winced as I hit the ground hard.
It didn't take me that long to get back up. When I got back up, I quickly ran back in front of Akela with baring teeth. I could hear Akela also baring her teeth at the wolves too.
As I bared my teeth, my glance turned to Zach. He was fighting Alpha and a few other wolves. I wanted to go help him out, but I had to protect Akela.
I knew Akela could take down some wolves, but I couldn't risk any of them breaking her wounded leg.
A weaker wolf out of nowhere dashed at Akela. Luckily, I threw him away from her just before they got to her. I heard him yelp and then whimper a little.
The other wolves still growled at me and Akela. I expected them to attack us some more, but they didn't. Instead they just starred at us and growled while making a circle around us.
Why were they making a circle around us and not attacking us?
I didn't know. What I did know was that I had to protect Akela. I shook the thought away and focused on each wolf targeting at Akela.
They then kicked some other wolf in the circle. The wolf looked like a very weak wolf, a wolf that could be an Omega.
Then I realized, they probably were the wolf that became the Omega wolf when I left. I noticed it was a she-wolf.
Akela looked like she knew the wolf pretty well because she offered the wolf to come and stand next to her. The she-wolf quickly scattered over and next to Akela.
I thought I'd better help her too. She didn't look like a threat at all to Akela anyway.
I refocused on the moment and let out a loud snarl to all the wolves surrounding us. All the wolves growled back at us, but never attacked.
I was still a little confused why they weren't attacking. It doesn't matter right now, what does matter is protecting. I reminded myself.
I heard a loud yell of pain, and realized it came from Zach. My view quickly looked towards Zach. He looked like he was in a lot of pain and losing against Alpha.
The urge to run over and help him grew bigger, but I still resisted because I still had to protect.
It wasn't long before Alpha shoved Zach to the ground and threw him in the circle. He limped over to me with blood streaming down him. He shook his head with a frown towards me and stood next to me. He then growled angrily towards the pack and Alpha.
Alpha looked towards us in the circle and stood in front of us with a nasty snarl.
"You all are fools, if you ever thought you'd beat us, then you were wrong."
