I felt a little guilty leaving her without saying where I was going. I didn't tell her because I didn't want her to worry.

I'll probably end up telling her at some point that I'm apart of a pack, or maybe she already figured it out.

I guess it didn't matter.

I kept sprinting towards Alpha's call. He was calling for me in particular.

I wondered what he even wanted from me, an Omega.

Why in the world did Alpha howl for me?

I'd be figuring that out soon...

In the moment, I didn't want Alpha to find out where I was earlier, so I snuck my way around a tree and to Alpha.

I stopped, knowing I couldn't enter the den area without Alpha's permission and waited for his grant of approval for me to enter.

He soon noticed me and gestured for me to come in.

I walked in, staying low to the ground and my head hanging low in submission.

I saw Beta standing next to Alpha. They both stood tall and stern.

Alpha stood in front of me and looked down at me with frustration, "You haven't been around today, where have you been?"

I stopped. I didn't want them to know about Akela. If they found out about her, they'd kill her.

"I've just been around the place, went to get some water at the river," I lied.

He gave me a suspicious look.

"Around the place?" his eyes narrowed, "Where around the place?"

I said with assurance, "The river I told you."

He looked at my eyes, deep into them.

"It wouldn't have took you that long to get a drink of water," he paused and soon questioned, "You're hiding something, aren't you?"

I quickly replied, "No."

He looked deeper into my eyes, studying whether I was lying or not.

"Alright, then."

He looked at me with an unusual, suspicious look.

Maybe he was on to me...

"If you're going to stay apart of this pack, you have to be in my view from now on," he said as making it a new law of the pack rules.

I tried to argue with his decision, not accepting the new law.

"Omegas don't have to be around the pack. They're not needed I thought," I said, trying to make him change his mind on making the new law.

"You're right about one thing, Omegas aren't needed, but all pack members must be in my view unless they get permission otherwise," he looked at me with question, "That isn't a problem, correct?"

I sighed, "No, not a problem at all, sir."

But, that was a lie. Akela needed me and that's out of Alpha's view...
