The day started to become a little colder, and the sky turned a bit cloudier. The clouds only blocked the warm sunshine from reaching me.

I felt as if I we're ready to collapse.

Barely any sunshine hugged me, sleep was about to take over me, and most of all, pain wrapped around my paws.

My paws started to grow blisters on them, and this was from all of the walking on the hard ground. The blisters we're painful, causing me to wince as I strolled through the harsh walk.

However at some point, while I was walking, I heard something unusual. Foot-steps. I assumed they were mine, yet they couldn't be, they were far more louder than mine.

Whose foot-steps were they, if not mine? What if it was Dakota's? Maybe he decided to come with me. Yet, there were not one pair of foot-steps, there were multiple. With that, it couldn't be his.

I noticed that the sound of the foot-steps grew louder and louder. It only grew closer and closer to me, following me.

I began to quicken my pace. I started trotting with some speed, hoping that the foot-steps would stop tailing me.

However, the foot-steps never gave up on me. They only grew more louder and faster.

That caused me to start running with immediate speed. Running, grunting with pain as I ran on my sore paws.

The faster I ran, the faster the foot-steps ran. I eventually began to panic.

I dashed from place to place.

I wasn't exactly sure where I was running, all I knew is that I was running away from the sound. My running was failing, for the foot-steps kept its pace with mine.

I was frightened, yet curious at the same time. Who was following me? I wanted to turn around to see who was following me, however, I didn't dare stop to look back.

The foot-steps soon chased me up to a rapid river. I noticed that the river looked just like the one I fell in before.

I eventually stopped when I got at the edge of the river, being careful to not fall in.

I suddenly heard the growing sounds of low growls. I closed my eyes with fear of who was behind me and opened them when I turned around all the way.

I opened up my eyes to see a pack of wolves. They slowly came out of the darkness and surrounded me.

They all bared their razor-sharp teeth at me. And all I did was freeze. I was too afraid to do anything in the moment.

Yet, then a question nudged me. Is this Dakota's pack? I looked to see if Dakota was with them. No Dakota.

At some point, when I had the guts to do so, I met my eyes towards the leading wolf of the pack, or the Alpha.

He stared straight into my eyes viciously. He then took a few steps towards me.

"You must be the little friend of the Omega," he narrowed his eyes as he said it.

The little friend of the Omega. What Omega? I realized he must be talking about Dakota. This must be Dakota's pack. Then, where was Dakota?

He soon started stalking me like prey, moving with a balanced stance. I started growling back at him. I was afraid, yet knew I had to be brave in the moment.

His lips then curled into a loud snarl and he moved closer to me.

I tensed up, with his every movement frightening me. I noticed that he looked confident with every sharp step he took.

I watched every move that he'd make,  preparing for him to attack me. My glance focused on his moves, until my eyes decided to observe the other wolves for a few moments.

I began to study the other wolves who were circled around me. They were more hidden, yet I could still see them further in the back. I observed each wolf, carefully. One was darker, one was lighter, one was smaller, and one was..

Suddenly, the Alpha jumped on me and pinned me down to the ground in a flash. Stupid me, I was too distracted studying the other wolves. I didn't have enough time to react, for I hardly saw him do it, he was too agile.

I tried kicking him off of me, yet his hold on me was too strong. Everytime I tried to leave from his grip, he would only dig his claws deeper into my chest.

I then snarled at him and bit down onto his leg, yet I let go when he digged his claws further into my chest. I winced with pain as he did so.

He let out smirk, "You would make a good Omega too, considering how weak you are."

I scowled at his comment. I wasn't sure how else to respond to that.

He gave a evil smile, "Ending your life is going to be fun."

I stopped. Dakota warned me he would kill me. I didn't really listen to that part like I should've.

Then, out of the woods came a familiar wolf, that I knew right away. Dakota.
