We're going to lose. They're too strong, my thoughts kept telling me.
Most of the pack was attacking me, not Akela as much, thankfully.
I could hear Akela scream in pain a couple of times, which only made me want to go and help her.
I tried going towards her, but I couldn't because I was too busy fighting against other wolves.
A few wolves dove their teeth into my neck.
I cried in pain. I grabbed on to one wolf's leg with my mouth, unsure who, and bit into their leg as hard as I could.
Alpha sliced me with his claws across my back, making me collapse on to the ground. I wailed out loud and kicked him in the jaw.
He suddenly snarled at me, and licked his mouth as he tasted blood that I caused. He immediately kicked me in the side as hard as he could after that.
I held in my scream as pain surrounded me.
I tried to get up, but the same wolf that I'd attacked from not to long ago, would shove me to the ground whenever I tried.
The rest of the wolves nipped at me while growling at me.
"Let's kill him!" someone behind everyone else shouted.
Everyone started cheering at their idea.
A wave of wolves began to rip off some of my fur and nip harder at me.
I noticed Zach behind the crowd.
He pushed past the crowd and stood in front of me.
"None of you are allowed to kill him without Alpha's permission! It's a pack law that I cannot let anyone break."
Everyone began to argue, but knew Zach was right.
They stopped being aggressive towards me until someone yelled, "We may not be able to kill him, but no law said we weren't able to torture him!"
Zach stayed in front of me, trying to think if something to get them to not hurt me.
The wolf in front if Zach and me snarled, "Now, are you gonna move and let us give him what he deserves or become one of him?"
Zach looked at me and then at the crowd of wolves, hungry to hurt me.
Zach soon started to back away from me.
No Zach... please don't...
He turned his head away from me with guilt.
I thought he was my friend...
The wolf in front of me growled at me and shouted,"C'mon everyone! Let's give him what he truly deserves!"
Everyone, besides Zach, cheered in approval.
The wolf began to drag me over to the river.
I struggled to escape from him, but never could.
When we got to the border of the river, a few wolves pushed my head into the water.
They were going to torture me by drowning me.
Oh no.
My head was under the water as my lungs started losing air.
I suddenly could feel the urge to escape from underwater.
The urge was growing big.
Moments later water started filling my lungs.
I need air!
I became desperate for air.
I pushed my head up, trying to get my head out of the water, but someone shoved it back under, deeper, and held it there.
I'm going to drown and die!
I needed air, needed to my head out of the water, so I could breathe!
I wanted to scream, but couldn't because water was filling my lungs.
I want out!
More water filled my lungs as I struggle to get out from under the water.
I couldn't breathe at this point. My energy was failing, and suddenly... I felt myself drift away from the world...
No... I can't leave now...
When I thought I was going to die for sure, a wolf pulled me out of the water and laughed.
The crowd around me cheered as I was blacking out.
I noticed Zach by a tree, watching with a frown.
The wolf threw himself on me, and slammed me against the ground. My head struck the ground hard. I shrieked when it hit the ground.
A sudden headache came across me. A huge headache hit me. The back of my head was throbbing and my back was shrieking, along with my side aching.
The whole world started to spin, and sparks flew in my vision. I tried to ease the dizziness, but I couldn't.
I noticed Alpha wasn't with the wolves in front of me anymore. Where did he go? I scanned around me quickly and then I saw him.
He was sneaking to Akela, aiming his eyes at something. I noticed what he was looking at. Akela's wounded leg, that was wrapped with a bandage around it.
He was going to dive his fangs into it. I could tell by the way he looked.
All the wolves that kept me against the ground snarled at me. Some of them scratched my back and some would bite into my legs.
I would shove them and kick them in the face, but that didn't stop them from attacking me.
One thought kept yelling at me. Get to Akela! I had to get to her before Alpha would strike.
I noticed Akela didn't see Alpha sneaking towards her. She looked to busy fighting other wolves, to have noticed.
I have to hurry. I have to make a run to her. I snarled at all the wolves and kicked each one across the face, or in their side.
After struggling to get away from all the wolves attacking me, I was finally able to have a chance to run.
I ignored all the pain in me and started running towards Akela. Alpha was just about ready to strike at her.
All the wolves started at me again and eventually caught up to me. One of them grabbed my tail and threw me across the ground.
At that moment, I saw Alpha get in his jumping stance and I screamed at Aleka, "Watch out!"

Художественная прозаPlease let go of her. Please. "No!" he snapped at me,"She deserves to die!" Akela nervously looked towards me. She doesn't deserve to die. It's not her fault she got caught up in this mess. It's mine. If anyone deserves the pain, it's me. "Alpha...
