In the proud and beautiful city known as Magnolia was the famous Fairy Tail guild. The strongest guild and the most destructive guild the whole kingdom of Fiore.
There's a saying that says; With great power comes even greater responsibility. However, this guild did only fulfill one of them. Namely the first part of the saying. Powerful yes, responsible, not so much.
Natsu and Porlyusica stood in front of the guilds orange gates. On it was the guild's name proudly written in purple letters.
"What is this? Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked skeptically as he read the sign, while Porlyusica gave him a funny look.
"Have you lived under a rock or something? That's the strongest guild in Fiore your standing in front of." She stated, while Natsu only looked at the sign with a skeptical look.
"Not necessarily under a rock, but I suppose that's one way of putting it." He said while shrugging his shoulders. "Why the name, Fairy Tail?" He asked with skepticism clear in his voice.
Porlyusica stared at the pink haired boy in astonishment. Shaking her head dejectedly, she grabbed a hold of the boy's collar.
Wasting no more time, Porlyusica forcefully opened the doors with Natsu who fought to get out of the grip. When she let go, he regained his composure and gave the place a thorough examine.
It was better than the first expected. Pretty impressive in fact, but it was nowhere near the Palace of Dovah. Then again, it was hard to outdo a floating Dragon Palace. The fact that people were beating each other up was a whole other thing.
"You brought me to a fighting club? If that is the supposed help then I do not need it." Natsu flatly stated turning around to leave before Porlyusica grabbed him. Preventing him from exiting the building.
Ignoring the boy's question Porlyusica yelled out, catching the attention of most of the members.
"Where is Makarov?" She shouted, making everyone stop right in the middle in their actions.
"Over here Porlyusica. So what's the matter?" The short old man asked from his spot on top of the bar.
"Hell like I would know that. I just found this brat wandering around in the woods." Porlyusica explained, gesturing to the so-called "brat" behind her.
After that, the healer quickly marched away from the scene. "Don't bother me unless it's absolutely necessary." When she was almost out of the door she muttered, "what barbarians" and something like, "too many people here."
When she left the members turned their attention towards the small dragon prince in the middle of the hall.
"So, what's your name, my boy?" Makarov asked the child in front of him. Natsu just stared at him blankly before muttering in a modulated voice, "Natsu Souleater."
"Natsu... Souleater? That's....umm.... a really interesting name you got there boy." The guild master said with a smile.
"My father and mentor gifted me with that name," Natsu explained while scanning the room.
"Father? Then what were you doing in the woods?" Makarov asked, eying the boy's strange appearance. His eyes were instantly drawn to the empty look in Natsu's onyx black eyes.
'A young child like him should by no means have such a dark look, no matter what they've been through.' Makarov though, eyebrows furrowing. The child possessed quite the intellect so his next course of action had to be thoroughly thought out.
"Left me." The boy flatly said, bringing the guild master back into the world of the living.
"Er... excuse me, mister... Who was your father?" A blue-haired girl timidly asked, afraid to get rejected by the newcomer.
