Kageyama cursed as he hit his head on a tree branch. 'Damn these woods! Now, where was that mansion again? ' The sky turned black half an hour ago and he still couldn't find it. How hard can it be to find a giant mansion in the middle of a forest?
Kageyama sat down on a tree trunk and sighed as he looked at the bandages the little girl placed around him after she healed him.
'Tch, faries. Always with the moral high ground.' He though half-heartedly. The girl had helped him despite not having to. On the other hand, that guy... Natsu was it? He hadn't hesitated killing one of his guild members.
The wort of all, the council would probably rule it as a self-defense thing, seeing as they were a dark guild and he was a light guild with an extraordinary amount of power.
Kageyama clenched his fist.
A sharp snapping sound was heard, and that made the dark guild member turn his head towards the sound.
In front of him was a short and old man with a white mustache. 'That's Fairy Tail's master! Ther's no one around. I can kill him right now!' He thought not believing how lucky he was.
As the guild master heard Kageyama's footsteps he turned around and hid the swimsuit magazine behind his back as he muttered out excuses.
When he realized he didn't know who the boy was his eyes narrowed slightly when he noticed the bandages.
"Shouldn't you be in the hospital, boy?" He asked eyes appraising the amount of damage. His black eyes landed on the huge bandage wrapped around his stomach.
"Y-yeah. You see they wouldn't let me play in the hospital." Kageyama said holding the skull flute in front of the guild master.
" W-would you like to hear it?" The Eisenwald member said.
"Sure, why not," The guild master said sitting down in an on the ground legs crossed over each other, as he still looked at the flute.
Not far away in some bushed Erza and the others were ready to attack when master Goldmine stopped them.
"Just watch." He told them as they looked at him confused.
That's one creepy flute you got there." Makarov said as he pointed towards the skull-shaped flute.
The black mage nodded a little uneasily before he gave a reply. "Y-yeah, I guess it is."
He put the wood flute up to his mouth but hesitated to play it. He tightened his grip on the slender piece of wood.
'Why can't I do it? He's right there! Just a single note and everything will change.'
"Nothing will change," Makarov stated as he looked at the shocked teen in front of him.
'Can he read my mind?!'
"I can't read minds. Your face gives everything away." The guild master said smiling in what looked like amusement and slight concern.
"Succumbing to anger always seems the easiest when you find yourself at the end of unfair treatment. However, the victor of acting on such anger is always short-lived." Makarov said, eyes never leaving the black wizard who began to look more and more conflicted.
"Killing me won't satisfy you. Maybe for a small amount of time, but not forever."
Kageyama looked at him in disbelief. His words did have some truth to them. Deep down he knew that what Eisenwald- no, what Erigor wanted was unreasonable. That what they did wasn't the right way to settle things.
'Damn! I can't do it! I can't kill him!' Kageyama though looking at the guild master. 'It won't change anything...'
"I-I surrender," Kageyama said and fell to his knees. As soon as Kageyama dropped it and fell to his knees Erza ran towards him with Gray, Lucy, and Wendy behind her.
