Getting to Know Eachother

I return to Loki's cell and he his sitting in the corner, looking at his feet.

"I'm back!" I say. Loki looks up and then back down again. "JARVIS open the cell doors and close them when I step in."

"Will do Miss Stark." The AI responded.

"Hi Loki. Did you behave?"

"Oh. Hello mewling quim." Loki replies.

"I've brought the book and notepad and pen you asked for." I say placing the items on the table.

"What ate you doing inside the cell may I ask?"

"I felt like coming in. You know. Maybe we learn more about eachother. Just a thought."

"Ok then. What's your name? Since you already know mine."

"Y-Y/n. Y/n Stark."

"Ok. We now know eachother, you can leave now."

"No. I want to ask you a question."

"Fine."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Growing up I was never told I what I really was. No matter how much THEY claimed to love me, I could always tell that THEY preferred Thor and when the time came they couldn't stand to have a Frost Giant sitting on the throne of Asgard."

"So? Why all of this destruction?"

"I want to show THEM that I should sit on the throne of Asgard and that I am stronger than Thor."

"So you have a hate relationship with who you once deemed to be your parents."

Loki stayed silent.

"Tony would kind of get it. He wasn't really keen on Dad every time he tried to impress him when we were younger Dad would always be busy running the family company: Stark Industries."

"What about you?"

"Well, I've been pretty busy helping Tony run the company since Pepper died and I need to keep a keen eye on him. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid especially when he's had a lot to drink." I fake a laugh. "Sometimes I wish I could just relax."

"Relax? As in comfy thrones and reading?"

"My relaxing is different. I am an artist. But a lot of the time I relax by curling into a ball on my bed and crying. Tony usually comes and comforts me but not always."

"Oh. Can you draw something for me?"

"Sure."
