What Now?

Tony walks out of the door and it closes behind him. I look over to the tray of food, pick it up and walk towards Loki in the cell.

"JARVIS, open the doors of Loki's cell please." I say. I walk in and the doors close behind me. "Want breakfast?"

"Sure, yes please." He replies.

"You choose what you want."

Loki reaches out and picks up a bunch of grapes. I sit down on the floor and we both start eating our breakfast.

"Does my brother know?" Loki asks.

"What?" I ask in reply, confused.

"Does Thor know?"

"No. Only you, Tony and JARVIS."

"When are you going to tell the others?"

"I don't know. Today maybe?"

"Let's go then!"

I open the doors and Loki follows me. We walk towards the elevator and we make our way towards the twelfth level of the tower.

When the doors open everyone's heads turn and face the mischievous God and I. Natasha reaches for a small blade but I signal her to put it down.

"What is he doing out of his cell?!" Thor asks annoyed.

"We need to show and tell you all something." I reply to the Norse God.

"Go on then kiddo, what do you need to tell us?" Steve says in a caring tone of voice.

I signal Loki to step forward and he does. Step by step he draws closer towards me and the rest of the Avengers.

Loki holds out his hand and I take it in mine, closing my eyes as I do so. I suddenly feel the mood in the room dramatically shift, as I open my eyes I feel Loki's grasp tighten.

I look up and everyone is looking at us in shock. Thor picks up Mjölnir and his grip on the handle tightens. Loki must have noticed because I feel his thumb gently rubbing the back of my hand in comfort.

"What the?" Bruce asks.

"You're a Jöunn?! I thought I could trust you Stark!" Thor shouts at me, clearly mad.

"Thor, chill. I'm not Jöunn. Well, not 100% Jöunn anyway." I try to reassure him.

Thor gets up and walk towards me threateningly. "You lied to me! You lied to all of us!"

Loki moves in front of me to protect me from his brother and speaks. "She did it because she felt like you all wouldn't accept her for who she was. Now I feel like she made the correct decision because your reaction, brother, is one she didn't want."

Steve gets up from his chair, walks towards Thor and places his hand on the God's shoulder. "Stop it! We have never thought less of someone for being different before, so why should Y/n be any different? She is family, whether you like it or not Thor!"

"Thanks Steve. We're gonna go back to the cell. See ya."

Loki and I make our way back to the cell and we walk into the glass prison. I lean against the glass door and slide down, burying my head in my hands.

"What do I do now, Loki? They all probably hate me."
