Loki?

I knock on the door and Steve opens it. "Y/n? Are you ok?"

"Yeah. You go out now and I'll look after Loki again." I say to him.

He nods his head and walks out. I take a seat on the bench inside Loki's cell and Loki looks at me with a worried and confused expression on his face.

"Are you ok?" He asks.

"Don't worry about me. Are you ok from earlier?"

"I'm alright I guess. I haven't seen my skin do that since when I... Nevermind. Is something wrong?"

I stay silent.

"Tell me... Please."

I roll up my left sleeve. I always wear long sleeve shirts, whether they're 3/4 sleeves or sleeves that reach my wrists or maybe cover my hands slightly. Right below my elbow on my inner arm sits a blue scar which looks like a tattoo. "I think you can figure it out."

"What is that?"

"Touch it."

He does as he's told and touches the scar. He looks at me and then at my arm. My skin turns blue as quickly as a wild fire and so does Loki's.

"What's happening?!" Worry lingered in Loki's voice.

I stay silent and I close my eyes. I feel Loki let go and I open my eyes to see Loki in his Jötunn form, beautiful blue skin and cherry red eyes. I look down at my showing skin and I look like Loki. It felt weird seeing myself like this because this is the first time this has been able to happen.

"Are you-?"

"No. When I was a baby a few Frost Giants made it here to Earth and when I was sleeping in my cot a Jötunn found me. For the first time in Jötunn history, when a Frost Giant scratched my arm some of its blood merged with mine and I have always taken it as a curse."

"Oh. So you adapted to live with Jötunn DNA flowing through your veins and it developed into this?"

"Exactly." I look down at my feet. "I know. I look like a monster, a freak."

I suddenly feel a pair of arms wrap around me and pull my closer to their chest. I open my eyes and see that Lki is hugging me. I face him and cry into his chest.
