Chapter 3: Somethings I'll Never Forget

Infinite's Pov:
I hid behind the building as Gadget tried finding me. After all I did save him by what I have left of the Phantom Ruby's power. He noticed my tail but before he could come over, it seemed like he remembered something and then ran.

He is safe that is all that matters, I wish it could've been that way all the time. My memory of when we met again still haunts me. The way he looked and acted sends shivers up my spine.

The red wolf was laying against a wall, badly bruised up from me attacking him. I had also broke his glasses so he could barely see now. I lowered myself to the ground ready to finish him off. At that moment I looked at his face, I was terrified since he was my old friend.

"Stop staring at me...just finish me off..." he said weakly. Memories of us being together flooded my head, I started shaking a bit. I couldn't stop looking at him, I didn't want to kill him he meant everything to me. "Infinite..." he said to me. I was still shock but I responded "What is it that you want?"

"Why are you looking at me? You already defeated me..." he said. I didn't respond, he doesn't remember me at all does he? "I just want to be with my friend...Ira I miss him...I probably disappointed him.." he added.

He does remember me...should I tell him? "Do you want me to die slowly? It seems like you do...after all...heh...you always wanted to see people suffer..." he said more weaker than ever. "Wait, stay with me..." I said to which he looked confused.

I took off my mask so I could reveal myself. "Ira..? Why did you do this to me...?" He asked rather tearfully.

Just the way he looked made me feel so guilty. I never wanted to hurt him and I never want to explain why I hurt him. His face was just so confused and he couldn't believe that his childhood friend would hurt him.

I can't blame him after everything I have done, I bet he thought I'd be the last person to do this. I heard footsteps and I quickly hid again. "Hello anybody here?" A male asked.
I couldn't control myself, I felt like attacking the person.

I didn't know why probably because I still have the Phantom Ruby. I tried resisting but it was no use. Without any second thoughts, I jumped onto the person and attacked him.

As I kicked and punched the person, I realized who it was. "I-Infinite!" The person said before I threw another punch at him. I noticed that he stopped struggling which meant I probably made him pass out. I looked at the person and noticed that it was Gadget's little brother, Gears!

"Shoot, what now?" I said to myself. I was in a state of panic and started thinking. The first thing I knew I should do was get as far away from this place as possible. And that's just what I did.
