Chapter 6: Liar Liar

Gadget's Pov:
My friends have noticed the change in my personality. I don't mean to yell and cuss at anyone, it's just...I feel like someone is telling me to do those types of things. Or maybe I'm just overreacting after all my little brother did get hurt.

Although that feeling of anger happened after I fell from my old apartment. Maybe these feelings are tied to that flower I've might have sallowed. "Hey Rook-I mean Gadget?" Sonic said which snapped me back into reality. It's nice to know that they won't call me "Rookie" anymore which means they can follow basic orders.

"Yeah what is it?" I replied in a slightly annoyed tone. "It's about your brother." He said kinda worried. "What about him? Did you find out who hurt?" I asked. "No, it's just...Gears hasn't woken up." Sonic responded. "And? He got hurt so it makes sense that he didn't wake up!" I yelled out.

At this point I was pretty pissed, I wouldn't get mad at Sonic but he just made it happen. "We saved him at about 10 AM and it's already 11 PM." Sonic explained. "Well just go make Tails check on him! Give my brother another scan!" I yelled while giving out a order.

Sonic just nodded and went to find Tails. "What is wrong with me?" I asked myself. I don't normally get angry but I swear something is making me feel this way. "Gadget!" I heard Tails' voice yell from upstairs. I guess they scanned my little brother quickly.

I ran upstairs and into Gears' room which was also mine. "What is it? Did you find out what's wrong with my little brother?" I asked him. "W-well yes but you're not gonna l-like it." Tails responded a little nervous. "Just spit it out, you trembling child!" I yelled at him which made him startled.

"Y-your brother...is in a coma." Tails finally said. I was shocked and I kinda snapped which made me throw Tails against the wall. "YOU ARE...LYING! YOU'RE A LIAR!" I yelled at him. Sonic came rushing upstairs and saw what happened. "G-Gadget what the heck!?" Sonic exclaimed.

"Just take your best friend and leave..." I said to which they both left. "Gears...don't worry I'll find out who did this...and I will make them feel pain until...well they won't feel it anymore." I said as I sat on his bed. Who ever did this is now dead.
