Chapter 9: I'm Not Me

Gadget's Pov:
What am I doing? Who am I? Why is any of this happening? These questions keep filling my head as I start to tremble. I hurt Tails, scared Sonic, and now hurt Infinite. Something terrible is happening to me but what is it? I don't understand what's going on!

I try looking around to see if I could one of Tails' gadgets around and lucky for me I did. It's the one he used to scan my brother and I smiled knowing this will tell me what's going on. I scaned myself, remaining calm at all costs but something inside me felt like screaming.

I looked at the machine and it read "DANGER DANGER" to which I started to panic. "W-What do you mean by d-danger?" I asked myself as I started to read what was on the machine. "Gadget The Wolf is a threat and must be looked after at all costs!" The first line read as I started to sweat.

"Scans showed: Sliver Flower in stomach which will cause massive anger and abusive personality. Phantom Ruby Detected in him!" I whispered to myself and then pushed the machine away in a corner. "Phantom Ruby? I-I...no-" I said to myself before starting to gag.

I felt like vomiting and so I rushed to me and my brother's bathroom. I vomited in the toilet but before I flushed it, I noticed something. In my puke were petals of the same sliver flower. "I-I...what should I do?" I asked myself standing up and sitting on my brother's bed.

I stared at him and sighed. I'm a threat to everyone now especially my little brother Gears. I can't let anyone know about this who knows what they'll do to me."I bet they'll try to kill you..."  A voice said and I jumped up. I looked around, no one is there even at the door.

"They'll hate you now...especially Sonic, Gears, the Resistance, and In-"  I tried blocking the voice but it didn't help. "Shut up! They'll never hate me or kill me!" I said pulling at my fur as a headache started to form. "But it will happen. Why do you think you're a good person?" The voice continued on.

"I AM! SHUT UP SHUT UP!" I yelled out starting to bang my head against the wall. "You are mine now..." The voice said taunting me. "I BELONG TO NO ONE!" I yelled out as I layed on the floor. Tears streaming down my face as I trembled. "You are in my control..." The voice said as I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I looked at the ceiling and everything went black.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"
