Chapter 13: Weirdly Normal

Ira's/Infinite's Pov:
The next morning was as I would put it was very strange. I woke up, had breakfast, and just did whatever had to be done. Currently, I'm with Sonic trying to figure out what might've happened that changed Gadget. We both know that he's angry at me for attacking his brother.

"I would agree that he's quite angry at me but let's face it. He didn't talk to me nor really look at me. Maybe he's forgiven me by now." I explained still resting on the couch. "Hm, I don't know I still think he didn't forgive you." Sonic responded walking around the room. We both heard someone coming down the stairs and we both flinched at the sound.

"Oh hey guys!" Gadget exclaimed once he saw us. "Hey Rookie, what's up?" Sonic asked giving him a high five. I could still see his eyes, they're still lifeless as ever. "Just came down to see how everything has been? You know checking to see if anything needs rebuilding!" Gadget replied while scratching his head.

"Actually yes, we would like for you to check on the builders on the nearby construction site." Sonic responded to which Gadget just gave him two thumbs up. "Just two questions before you go." Sonic said stopping Gadget from moving. "Do you forgive Infinite for accidentally attacking your brother?" Sonic asked pointing towards me.

"Oh it was by accident? I didn't know I thought you did it on purpose! I'm so sorry!" Gadget said giving me a quick hug. "I-It's fine, No harm done!" I said blushing just a bit. "It's nice to see you forgive him anyway why are you wearing a jacket?" Sonic asked. I noticed just now that Gadget was wearing a zipped up jacket.

"I thought I would try something new! Besides maybe it's cold out. Anyway, I'll be going! Bye you two." Rookie said a bit nervously while walking towards the exit. "You can't tell me that's strange!" I exclaimed standing up. "I agree, let's just hope he doesn't do anything bad..." Sonic said and walked towards the kitchen.

Once he left, I sat back down on the couch still thinking. Thinking about my stupid love-centered thoughts. Gadget still doesn't remember me? He has to maybe he's still hiding it? He couldn't forget me, that's just impossible. Something indeed strange is happening but what? I guess I can just wait and see.
