Once I stepped inside of the guild I couldn't believe what I was seeing with my own eyes. All the commotion was being caused by the two ravenettes who I had left behind the previous night. Apparently they were looking for me but unfortunately for them I didn't want to be found. I couldn't bear watching them suffer again so it's for the best that they don't get involved with me. After all, I was a man on a mission. Nothing would get in my way, not even the interference of my secret love. It was a responsibility and burden I'd have to shoulder until I complete my objective. Terminate the Deity of Sin. In order to do that I needed to become stronger. Otherwise history would just keep repeating itself. Like it apparently is before me. Although this time there were complications.

The Dahaka creature didn't appear last time so something is happening behind the scenes. Some outer force is at work, possibly trying in an attempt to hinder my progress towards my goal. I had to discover the source of that as well at some point. As more arguing unfolded between the guild receptionist and Noire, I became lost in my thoughts among the crowd until I heard Noire scream "Fine! If no one will look for him then I will!"

A chill ran down my spine. I couldn't allow this to happen. If she somehow found me among my travels it could spell the end for her all over again. I had to act fast or she would just disappear among the crowd. So naturally, without thinking, I stupidly walked out from the crowd and said "I'll look for this man. Alone."

Noire then gave me a strange look and walked up to me slowly and started laughing.

"So you'll look for him huh? Just you? No one else?" She mocked.

She had no faith in my ability at all. I had put myself into a predicament that would be hard to talk my way out of without a negative consequence. However, this also raised another problem for me. I had changed my actions. Now since I changed the present, I couldn't completely predict future events. Which could make things even more difficult. Silence befell the both of us as the crowd around the guild stared at both of us, awaiting a response. It was so quiet you could hear us both breathing as we stared each other down.

After a few moments, the silence was broken by a single voice... within the crowd?

"I'll help him in his journey." The voice said.

"For I have someone to find as well."

The person who the voice belonged to then stepped out from the crowd. It was a woman and I'd never seen her before in my life.
