I awoke to the sound of silence. I opened my eyes to reveal myself in, my old home. How? Was I dead and just experiencing the afterlife? I pinched myself and it hurt tremendously. I walked outside of my home and found that everything was just like it was before the CPUs had started dying. I rushed towards Lastations Basilicom in hopes that it wasn't decrepit as it had been before. As I approached the borders of the city that was Lastation, I could clearly see the Basilicom. It was as healthy as ever. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Then I heard a jingle in my pocket. I had to turn in a bounty and look for another one. It was the same bounty I had turned in before. The first time I saw Noire. Naturally, I decided to retrace my steps. Finding her, tailing her to the cave, then watching her get defeated. Once again, I took hold of her weapon and defeated the dragon with it. I said the same things I had before and everything fell in place. I couldn't make sense of any of it. Was this what people meant when your life would flash before your eyes? Surely this wasn't it. Or was it rather I was in hell forever reenacting the events in which I had failed? I didn't know. Either way I had to continue as normal. Retrace my steps to truly find out why I was here again.

I took Noire back with me and gave her attention and warmth like I had done before. She proceeded to do the same things again like the last time this happened. She led me to the Basilicom but the only part that was different is when we came to the discussion of my powers. I didn't care about my powers. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. I met Noire and Uni again. It was like a blessing had been passed upon me. I wasn't going to waste it either. They didn't know who I was though. I was extremely disheartened when I heard those words but I didn't lose hope because deep inside me I knew that I could build our relationships again as long as I stayed who I was and still am inside.

It wouldn't be easy though. The first time around wasn't exactly a walk in the park. The second time I'd be more prepared though. More determined not to let anything happen to them. I was also stronger than I used to be and more skilled. It wouldn't be too difficult compared to how things were before to achieve my goal. I just hope that I could make it in time.

Night fell on that fateful night that I met two of the many important people in my life. Noire had given me the tour around the Basilicom and the city which helped as I discovered things that I didn't know before. However, it was getting late and I was about to head home. But she stopped me at the door.

"Just where do you think you're going?" She asked me.

"Home." I said. "I still need to make dinner."

She looked at me for a minute then looked away from me towards the floor and muttered something to the floor. She started blushing intensely but I couldn't hear what she had said. She looked cute though. So I softly said "I'm sorry I didn't hear what you said Noire. Could you repeat what you said please?"

Moments after she looked slightly annoyed and I half expected her to yell but she said slightly louder what she had said before. This time her voice was audible though.

"You could stay for dinner if you want."

I couldn't say no after she had mustered up the courage just to say it. I could see in her eyes that she was scared slightly and that she was very embarrassed. So to put her at ease I agreed. It was one of the happiest decisions I ever made in my life. Because after that I saw something that I'd never forget. Her smile.
