Riley POV
What happened when Riley and Vicky went back to their room

We walked out the door and went to our room. I flopped down on my bed and sighed.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Vicky asked
"First you have to tell me what's happening between you and Justin?"
I yelled
I saw Vicky cheeks turn pink
"Oh um we um. Well he was showing me around the hotel then we went to his room. We started talking then he kept staring at me. I noticed he was staring at my lips. All of a sudden he smashed his lips on mine. " she explained
"So you like him? Who knew you would fall for a nerd." I said
"Yeah I like him. He's just so sweet and I don't ever want to leave him."
"That's so romantic!" I fluttered my eye lashes
"Oh shut up Riley. Now you have to explain me something." She said
"What?"
"This"
She shoved her phone in my face.
"I am so gonna kill you and your phone!" I screamed
It was a pic of me and Ryder sleeping. that was what I was scared about.
"Delete it right now!"
"Not until you tell me what's going on here." She said
I sighed. I told her the story of how he ended up on my bed.
"Happy now?" I mumbled
"Wait. So do you like him?" She asked
"Of course not! we live in different worlds. He does look good but he might have a bad personality." I yelled
"Yeah but look at Justin and me."
"I know but my situation is different." I said
"Sureeee it is." Riley smirked
"Anyways let's talk about what I was going to tell you." I said changing the subject
"Oh yeah. What did you want to say?" Riley asked
"Can we leave tomorrow morning?"
"Why?"
Should I tell her? Maybe not. I don't want her to get all excited about the book like the stupid girl she is. What should I tell her?
"I just really.... want to to get to the resort. We can't stay here all summer right?" I lied. Well it wasn't a complete lie. I actually wanted to go to the resort. I'm am so not wasting my summer in a scary hotel.
"Oh okay. We might as well leave. Now I know Justin is going to the resort I'll be okay." She said
"Great!"
"Someone's excited!" Riley squealed
I groaned. I changed into some pyjamas and brushed my teeth.
"Let's get some sleep."
"Okay. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
I closed the light and slipped under the covers. I started thinking about the book. How could a book start whispering? Did the ghost book control me? I wish I could find my answers to my question. Maybe I should investigate. No! What if the ghost book will get us all in danger. The librarian did say that we will die. Should I trust him or is he just scaring me? I should ask Ryder if we could stay for just one more day and find some more information about the book. I am just so curious! I felt a bit cold. It was really warm and comforting with Ryder's arm wrapped around me. I smiled. Sometimes I guess it's okay to think about him. Remember Riley don't fall for him. back to the book. Most likely the book is just a trick. Just a trick. Just a trick. My eyes were heavy. I fell into a dreamless sleep.
