9: You Came Back

Chapter 9

Kyle point of view

I stare at her as she left knowing she wasn't the same, she didn't even dress the same. Neither like good and innocent Melody or hurt and broken Melody it was like she was a new person. My eyes travel to my phone where I was getting constant texts from my ex and her family threatening me if I didn't marry her our deal with the company was broken but dad and mom agreed if I was actually willing to win Melody and loved her then no deal would be made.

"So does she remember anything" her mom asked sitting in front of me along side my mother who came out of nowhere.

"It seems she remembers olny the good" I say breathless not realizing I have been holding my breath. My mother looked confused till Melody's mom shock her head sadly.

"Ben said this could happen, he told me considering how her depression was so high and how many medications she had there's a slight chance she won't ever regain her full memory and she'll olny remember the things her mind didn't block out" she told me looking stressed out as the minutes went by.

"But she remembers what happened with..." I stopped not wanting to say either of their names. Both those monsters deserve to rot in hell and don't deserve to be mentioned.

"Yes but that's because she woke up wanting to believe I was a good mother and brought her to a hospital far away from them" Her mom said in tears, from what I read in her journal she loved her mom but never really forgave her for what she did.

"Maybe it's best this way" both looked up at me with confused expressions as if I had gone crazy.

"I more then anyone know she went through hell these past years maybe we should forget and make up for all that" I suggest to her mom knowing there wasn't much to do at this point.

"I agree" she said with sadness "I never told anyone but her friends visited her so many times at the hospital do you think they should see her again?" she asked me as if thinking I knew best for her when I had been the worst for her all this time.

"I think it would be good for her" I told her before she nodded with a smile going to call her friends on the phone.

Melody's point of view

Once I was done with my school work I went on my Mac and started typing away to all the comments I got on my instagram and for all my art work and pictures oddly I was what my cousin Jessica called instagram famous it was a little hilarious. It wasn't till a few minutes later I saw a comment that scared me.

this comment happened to be on a photo of me at a dinner party my mom and I went to where her friend took many pictures of me saying I could be a model I was in a strapless channel dress with a diamond necklace and black heals with my hair up high. I quickly open up the link at the bottom where it led to a YouTube video and block the user as quickly as possible before deleting his comment.

This had been the third comment like this but the first with a video looking at it I see a girl with horribly short clothes,her body was face towards a boy so you couldn't see her face but you could see her back and she was making out with a boy but he ended up pulling her as she kept on falling down as if drunk.

"Honey" mom said quickly I turned off my computer.

"What are you doing?" mom asked curiously as she entered my room with one of the maids who was brining in food and leaving it on the table near the couches.

"Ugh__"I say trying to remember what I was doing "I don't remember actually" mom nod busy probably why she didn't hear me.

"That's nice ugh honey I invited a few friends of yours do you think they like imported cheese?" she asked curious.

"Ugh I think pizza is ok mom" I say a little weirded out "And friends?" I question confused.

"Well your cousin, uncle and Kyle think it's a good idea" I nod and smile trying my best to show her I appreciated what she was doing for me.

"Thanks mom" I say touched as I smiled at her.

"Aw don't sweat it hun, Do you think they like scotch or Jack Daniels?" mom asked excited.

"Mom" I say panic, she just smiled but left the alcohol on the table. Face palming myself then staring as the maids started setting everything up I gave up on normal.

What was I doing, I continue to think but I never remembered.

Just then Kyle enter with three beautiful girls and three other handsome guys who looked way to unrealistic.

"Hey Melody!" they all yelled excited, smiling at them I wave hello and turn to Kyle a little shy.

"Ok guys lets start slowly ok" Kyle suggested as I sat down.

"Ok I'll start I'm Erica Will and we met at a concert we also go shopping on Tuesday because we love being the olny ones at the mall" Erica who had ash blonde hair and deep green eyes, her style seem vintage and her attitude was really nice.

"Lovely to meet you" I say smiling "Love your shoes by the way" I add before I turning to the next girl.

"I'm Carmel but you call me candy" She tells me excited "We also took a course together but we both didn't finish it" She says laughing at the joke.

"I'm Parker " a pretty girl with rainbow hair a a flower head band said as her blue eyes stare at me. "We were friends since high schol" She says with a smile slowly I feel like maybe I have met her.

"Cheerleading?" I question curious instantly she smiled at me as if I just given her a million bucks. Just then my mom walks in with pizza boxes and a few maids holding out cheese and crackers. Quickly I face palm myself at how I knew quickly that food cost more then any normal person would  pay for a month worth of food.

"She hired people didn't she?" I asked Kyle.

"Yeah" he says amused but then quickly turns to Parker.

"Yeah but I was never that good especially next to you" Parker says with admiration.

"Thanks Parker" She smiled at me before I turn to the boys who all seem nervous in some ways.

"Eric I'm Erica's twin brother and I actually was your date for prom" he told me excited with a smirk "You were excited" he said smug. Out of nowhere a plastic cup hit him in the head.

"Oh shut up you were luck she said yes " Erica said with a glare "He was in his nerd faze till I fix him up for you, I mean I wasn't letting my best friend go with an ugly brother right " She said amused. Looking at Eric for a few minutes I couldn't picture him ugly, he was quite handsome with his ash blonde hair and deep green eyes. And his jaw which was so beautiful, I've never seen a beautiful jaw other then Kyle's and he seem nice for such a handsome guy.

"Shut up" his hisses at his sister before sulking.

"I'm Miguel we met just because I go out with Parker" Miguel told me with a smile as he looked Parker who smiled at back at him with love."We play soccer when we go to the beach, we are always the champions" he says putting a fist bump out in the air. giggling I nod before turning to the next guy who was beautiful.

"Kade?" I asked happy as I jump up to hug him tightly crying in his arms.

"Yes Mel? " he asked a little shock.

"You came back" I said in tears as I held him tight.

To the ones who don't remember Kade was introduced in the past chapter. He ask Melody out and they both fell in love but didn't work out because Kade's parents didn't like Mel and they ship him off to boarding school.
