Chapter 11
It has been one month now and I still have yet to remember the important things. I only remember my child hood with Kyle and it was only good maybe one or two bad memories but those were in my nightmares. My uncle thinks it's because my mind craved a happy childhood so bad it's trying to erase the bad. Looking at my mom as we baked I couldn't help but smile. From what I remember she was always the type of mom who spent more time with her friends spending money on useless things.
Mom was singing along to some song on the radio which made me laugh because it wasn't something a mom should be singing. When we finish both of us sat in front of the tv and ate of cookies with coffee.
"So I've been meaning to ask you" my mom starts as she sets her cup of coffee down."Would you like to take an art class?" she asked me as I turn to look at her.
"Why do you ask?" I question curiously.
"The other day I brought your laundry unto your room and I saw all your drawings on the ground, they all seem like memories" she says with sadness yet hope in her eyes.
"I honestly don't know" I say looking at my mom with frustration "I think I'd like to, can I take it at the college Kyle goes to?" I asked remembering how Kyle was insisting I should go there next year if I get excepted.
"Yeah I don't see why not my friend Jackie is teaching a class I call and set it up" I nod at my mom before I began to put my attention on the tv. Some show about a girl deep in love for a guy who never loved her.
...
Why are you going to marrying her?
yeah she can give me everything I've wanted ever wanted.
From the corner I was I felt my heart break slowly and then just all at once. Looking down a the bracelet I was given for my birthday I dropped it knowing it was nothing special, after all Kyle didn't even have the nerve to come to my party to give it to me himself.
.....
Waking up I see my mom still next to me watching the movie like it was the most interesting thing on the planet. Looking around I see the clock on the left side next to the tv and see it was five. Getting up I gotten my mom's attention, looking at her I smiled.
"Are you ok hun?" she question curiously " I nod before I grab my shoes and start slipping them on.
"Yeah I'm find I didn't even realize I was falling asleep" I say sheepish "I have a date tonight do you mind?" I ask curiously.
"Of course not just text me when you'll be home "she says with a smile before getting back to her movie.
Going up stairs I change into a white dress and slip on some white lace flats. I apply a bit of mascara and lipsticks before I pull my hair up in a bun. As I walk out the house with my bag I felt a huge headache, ignoring it I continue to walk to the back where the gates were. Our house was really weird since the front was wide open and the back had gates but it's probably because the hole street were filled with big extraordinary houses.
There in the front was Kade awaiting me with a big smile holding a bouquet of roses. Running to him I hug him happy to see him, as I hug him I felt comfort to have him with me. We were both short but Kade is three more inches then me but I think we are perfect like this.
"You look beautiful Melody but did you brig a sweater you can get sick" smiling at his concern I didn't realize he was indeed right.
"No I figured it wouldn't get to cold" I say looking up at his eyes with a shrug.
"Oh Melody" he says with a smile before taking off his leather jacket and draping it over me,"Remind me to keep a sweater for you". Nodding I smile before we head out to go eat then to see a movie.
