         Flowey and I finally reach an old cottage which seemed to be Toriel's. I walk up to the door and hesitate to knock. But before I gathered up the courage to actually knock, Flowey interrupts.

"Before you go, I just need to tell you that I can't stay with you and I'm going to have to leave you for a while."

"You're telling me this now!?!" I panic.

"Look, Toriel and I don't exactly get along! She likes to torment me and has tried to kill me countless times just for my size!" He rants.

"I swear to god if never see you again―"

"You will! Just don't die on me okay?" He says concerned.

"Okay." I say.

         And with that, he digs into the ground leaving a small hole where he once was. I cover it  up with my boots and give a big knock to the door. I could hear the wrapping of my fists echo around me as it slowly fades back into silence. I try again...nothing. I lift up my hands again to try one last time but stop.

"Why hello um, sir?"

I quickly try my best to not act startled and turn around  the most intimidating way as possible and meet face-to-face with Toriel.

"Can I help you, sir? You seem lost."

         I could tell she was a bit uncomfortable by the way I turned around to greet her but quickly dismissed it. She was holding a basket of what seemed like monster dust with a few snails on the top covered in the remains of probably all the monsters Flowey and I last saw while walking here. We both stood awkwardly staring at each other. Toriel clears here throat and eyes me and then the door.

"Oh, sorry." I say as I step away between the door and Toriel.

"Thank you." She says as opens the door and leaves it open staring at me.

"...Well, aren't you coming in?" She says a bit irritated.

"Right,my apologies uh, miss." I say.

"You don't seem to be the best when it comes to social cues, aren't you?" She says as I walk in.

"Not with a beautiful lady in my presence." I say jokingly.

She chuckles a bit.

"My my, aren't you flattering~"

                                                        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         So far Toriel hasn't suspected anything about me being a human. She sets down the basket of dust and snails on a table and tells me to make myself at home. To be honest, the place looked very snug and almost homey if it weren't for the stench of dust, burn snails, old torn furniture, and the rotting wilted yellow flowers that seemed to be in every room.
         She left into what was most likely the kitchen, I looked at the pile of dust and scooped a bit into my pouch just in case if the smell wore off plus I didn't want to kill another monster unless I have to. Toriel comes back with a steaming bowl of hopefully water and picks some snails along with some dust and drops it into the bowl. She stirs it with her wooden spoon and sips a bit of it and goes back into the kitchen and comes back out.
"I hope you're hungry for dust snail soup, because I have been too busy today to make anything fancy because I think I found a human today!" She says excitedly.
You try your best not to act out your nervousness towards her excitement of her almost finding you just by your smell. Before you could say anything she quickly replies.
"I've never seen you around the Ruins before, are you knew to this area?" She questions.
"Yeah I'm kind of lost." I say as I scratch my head.
She looks at me quizzically while raising an eyebrow at me. I feel myself starting to sweat as I'm being examined. She stops and sniffs the air. I freeze.
"Oh no not the soup! I'll be right back." She says as she quickly turns around and runs back to the kitchen.
I grab more of the dust and throw a bit more on to mask the smell of my sweat. She comes back with two bowls in hand with a stench beyond hell and a smile on her face.
"Dinner is served!"
                                                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

         We sit down across from each other with our soup as she waits for me to try her master piece. I take the spoon and scoop the thick gray slime from the bowl and―Wait, I can't eat unless I take off my mask...Shit! I hesitate for a moment and look up to see her still waiting for me to try her soup.

"Well? What's wrong?" She says confused.

This is it. I'm going to die.

"Pardon me miss but do you have a...straw?" I say nervously.

"..."

Silence. I close my eyes and wait for a response or my death but to my surprise I hear... laughter?

"Oh sir! Yes I do have a straw, let me go get one!" She says has she laughs her way into the kitchen.

         I didn't realize I was tensing my shoulders until now and leaned back into my chair with a sigh relief that i'm not going to die even though I still have to try to suck her poor excuse of a dinner through a straw. She comes back with a red and white striped straw and sticks it in my soup for me.

"I can see that it's such a hassle to eat with that thing on, why don't you take it off?" She questions.

The lying side of myself quickly took control.

"I'm very subconscious of my face." I say as I thread the straw under the mask.

         I take a sip only to get that weird sucking noise when you try to eat jello with a straw. The substance enters my mouth. It tasted like moldy bread but liquefied. I try my best not to gag and swallow the portion and not look like I wanted to throw up at the same time.

"I'm sure face is wonderful!" She encourages.

I smile from this, Toriel is not as bad I thought she was.
