         You decided to start writing in a journal about your new life in the Underground and how difficult and comforting times can be even if that meant taking some secrets to the grave. Just in case Sans or Papyrus ever found your journal, you were writing in it with that strange code called Wingdings. It took some time getting use to but you're almost able to read and write it naturally.

         You were lounging around in your bedroom just wearing your robe as you lay on your bed staring at the wall while trying to figure out how to occupy yourself. You hear faint scratching of writing knowing that it's Gaster. You get up and walk over to your desk to see what he's writing about.

[You really need to be very careful around Sans when he's drunk, last night was only the beginning.] Gaster writes.

"What do you mean? Are you saying that's not the worse he can do?!" I say surprised.

[Keep your voice down, you're not wearing your mask remember.]

"Right sorry it's just why would Sans suddenly want to know what I really look like? Does actually like me?"

[...You're quite dense when it comes to body language aren't you?] He says mockingly.

"I am aware that he sometimes blushes and gets a bit nervous when i'm around, Gaster! I'm just worried that he might only like me because i'm a 'guy'."

[Well even if he did like you as a guy, there's nothing you can really do about it since that could lead him to finding out about your secret.]

"Yeah, you're right. I don't why it's bothering me." I sigh.

[I think it is bothering you, otherwise you wouldn't care.]

"I don't want to die alone Gaster, it's just a human instinct that we have." I say frustrated.

[So do monsters. We don't want to die alone either.]

There was a pause for moment between the two of you.

[You shouldn't let your feelings get in the way of your survival (Your name), your type of kindness will get you killed if you open up any more than you already have. You're getting soft and you need to get  your tough demeanor back into gear.] Gaster lectures.

He was right. You're opening up a bit too much and you need to tone it down.

                                                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
         The conversation between you and Gaster ended a few moment ago so you just started to draw out some weapon ideas you've had for a while but Gaster interrupts your thoughts again.
[You know, I hate having to waste so much paper when i'm talking to you...]
"Writing." I correct him.
[You know what I mean, but there's something that I want you to do for me.]
"And what would that be?" I ask.
[I remember seeing an old chalk board out in Waterfall's dump and I want you to get it so I don't have to waste anymore paper.]
"Waterfall has a dump?" I say confused.
[It's sort of a passage that's connected to the surface that tends to bring your 'trash' down here.]
"How come you've never tried getting out of the Underground through that passage?"
[There's a spell down here that makes it a 'one way in, no way out' kind of deal.] He explains.
[Hence to why I was trying to find a way out of the Underground.]
