It's been almost a week since you got that strange feeling and you couldn't quite figure out why. It made you feel like something bad was going to happen but you didn't know when it would. You were on edge during that week, watching yourself, becoming more aware of your surroundings when you were out, you couldn't even sleep. You've never really experienced anything like this before and you were getting tired if it. You didn't really want to tell anyone this mainly because you didn't know how to explain your situation.

Undyne had given news that patrol schedules would go back to normal since there hasn't been any sign of the 'human' and was presumed dead. That was a great relief to you specifically and a little bit to Papyrus because he was paranoid that someone would find you in his house and he would be stripped of his "HONOR AND GLORY!" Despite the royal guards being disappointed that their chance of finding a human was gone, you still had that feeling that something bad was going to happen. It had become unbearable this day particulary and you had to tell someone about it in hopes that it would go away.

You decided to tell Papyrus because he seems to be the type that always is expecting the unexpected. You searched the house for him but he wasn't around. You knock on Sans' door hoping that he would know where Papyrus was. You walk over to Sans' door and knocked and heard some noise on the other side, Sans opens the door looking like he just woke up from a nap. He scratches the side of his skull and yawns as he leans against the frame of the door.

"what do you want (y/n)?" He says sounding annoyed that I woke him.

"Have you seen Papyrus around? He's not in the house."

"what do you need him for?" Sans yawns.

You wondered if you could tell him what was wrong but―wait a minute he's your boyfriend, you should let him know what's going on.

"Well, I could tell you instead of him since Papyrus isn't around."

"tell me what? jesus girl, stop making me ask questions." He jokes as he walks out of his room and ushers you to follow him to the living room.

You've noticed that Sans really likes that couch since you always tend to see him on it when you come back from patrolling. You both sit down as Sans looks at you with concern.

"so what is it that you want to tell me?" He says sounding worried.

You let out a big sigh before you continued.

"I've been having this strange feeling for a week that something bad is going to happen and I can't figure out why." I say feeling sightly relieved.

Sans pondered a bit before responding, you could tell that he was thinking very hard by his face and how he tapped his fingers on his femur.

"what kind of bad thing do you think is going to happen?" He asks.

"I'm don't know, all I know is that something bad is going to happen." I say frustrated.

There was a small pause before he responded.

"i think you're feeling stressed out because the royal guard has been trying to find the only human down here, which is you." He says pointing his finger.

"But the search was called off yesterday, so why would I be stressed over something that's already over?" I say confused.

"it's rare, but some humans get stressed after the event has already happened and they don't know how stressed they were until afterwards."

"How do you know that some humans do that?"

"i've seen monsters with that kind of problem so i'm pretty sure that it could be the same with humans." Sans claims.
